Hello, it's me. Needless to say it's been a very rocky week. Never thought when I left the trailer that day that it would be 8 days before I posted again. I am glad that Kelly has been keeping ya'll updated. And the 3 of us, Kelly, son, and I are all grateful for your thoughts and prayers.
But I hate to tell ya that I can't update you with much more info than what Kelly has been able to do. Spoke to the doctor today and really didn't learn to much of anything. They are still not sure of the underlying cause of all my problems. Some of it is I am not getting enough oxygen so that is causing my Co2 levels high, my COPD is causing a small problem, my Triglycerides are high which is making my liver do funky things. They are waiting on a couple of tests to come back to see if anything else is going on. I am gonna have to learn and get use to sleep with a bi-pap machine as I have been having sleep problems. So I will have to go in for a sleep study. My doctor here is an expert in cardiac /pulmonary, it usually takes 4 to 6 months wait to get into see him
They love picking on me here. They ask me if I "smoke"and I tell them "no". At least I haven't since last Monday. Heck of an expensive way to quit smoking. Kelly and I talked last night and I told her that if I'm not gonna be able to smoke that she is quitting too. Told her to take a good look and see herself later down the road. So as much a blow to our pockets that this is it is also a blessing too. She and I will also have to learn a whole new way of cooking and eating.
I am really hoping to learn more tomorrow. I hope with all my heart that all my sistahs weathered Issac and safely and everyone has been been behaving!!!!!
