I already have a name and I don't even have an RV yet!
I was listening to the radio one day and a song came on from way back when by Lynard Skynard, called "They Call Me The Breeze ('cause I keep blowin' down the road)". So I decided "The Breeze" would be a great name for a rig!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Actually I'm not to original with naming my Lil pony, a 1966 mustang convertible. I like the song Mustang Sally (Wilsin Pickett) So I started calling her Sally. But when you go to classic car events every other old mustang is called either Sally or Eleanor (1967 Shelby GT in the movie gone in 60 seconds). But the name already stuck and she is Sally :D

Dream Weaver. Song by REO Speedwagon 1976

I've just closed my eyes again
Climbed aboard the dream weaver train
Driver take away my worries of today
And leave tomorrow behind

(chorus
Ooh dream weaver
I believe you can get me through the night
Ooh dream weaver
I believe we can reach the morning light
Fly me high through the starry skies
Maybe to an astral plane
Cross the highways of fantasy
Help me to forget
:D :D :D

We've had a name picked out for our rig for a couple of years... and we don't even own it yet! She'll be called 'Serenity' after the short lived TV show; we are BIG Joss Whedon geeks.

Sandi -
As many have said, a name isn't necessary but maybe one will 'grab' you the way the name of our new 2012 Itasca Cambris grabbed me. Every morning for the 5 days beween purchase and pick-up, I would wake up saying "Oh My God, what did we do?". So the name became "OMG". But we have so been enjoying it even though we have to stay local for right now with the chemo and radiation for Terri (my roommate).

Enjoy!!

I toyed with the idea of naming my travel trailer before deciding on personal plate instead that reads "Plucky 8". The number 8 is lucky and means something like may your luck keep going on and on. As for Plucky it means Brave, Courageous & Gutsy. Plucky just seems to fit my RV journey.

I don't have a motorhome, but have a truck and camper. I call them the double T, truck is Topaz and trailer is Tag-A-Long.

I refer to the 5er as Sanity. When everything seems to be whirling and out of control I like to go camping or just go sit in it parked in the yard. Just seems to relax me and I regain my sanity!
