Where have I been?!

Oh, ladies, after all your help and support, I have been neglectful and absent from the Forum! Please forgive me... Ha! I had HarBor home for 5 days, spent those 5 days getting him all decked out, then just couldn't wait to get on the road--so decided to do a practice overnight run, using everything (except genny) and NOT towing my car! Such a dream--except on my first hard turn, I found out there was no security latch for my frig! I had seen an odd screw at the top of it, but it didn't register--thought maybe the door was tight enough to hold Other than that, just a few things to tweak when I returned, but now I feel confident that I have everything I need in there. And, yes, you'll all probably tell me that in time I'll find more things I need! BUT, I did spend quite a bit of time doing the advanced search to read past posts for ideas--lotsa good stuff! So my thanks to all of you for that too! ... And then there is reality of a house and yard! Harvest time for tomatoes, and my bro's big project this year was to put in 38 plants--now we have 38 plant's worth of tomatoes to can!

Now, the FL GTG: I'm not making a reservation, but it just happens that I plan to be at my sis's FL farm at about that time! That'll be the beginning of my big trip west, so what better way to start it than to meet some of you! I'll be checking up on the status of when you'll be there, so I'll try to pop in for a day or two!

cabinets...refrigerators.....most of us have lost some of the contents of these.... Makes those campfire stories even better. Glad that you were able to get out and enjoy your rig before having to knuckle down with the harvest.... You will be motivated to make your escape as soon as you can

Remember to trap spaghetti in something or you will play pick up sticks. Also small pasta, that door comes open and it is crunch crunch as you are picking it up. When I hit a bump I still have pieces of spaghetti showing up. Thought all those bumps in Alaska would have cleared the spaghetti.

Be sure the medicine cabinet in the bathroom is secure and you have spring loaded curtain rods up there to keep the bottles from falling in the potty.

Now you can imagine how I know all these neat little things. Those washboard roads teach you a lot.
