Oh my Kelly, I'm so sorry to read this...You know all of us here are keeping you and your Mom and David in our prayers...and like everyone else has said.."Get yourself taken care of too".. you don't need any more problems as all this is going on in your life... Please let us know what hospital your Mom is in so we can at least send cards or perhaps they have a web site we can all send word to her...

Anything at all we can do to help.. but please do take care of yourself..!!

Kelly, I am so sorry to read your posts. Please take care of yourself, you will need the strength. Please also, take a note book and write down everything you can and all of your questions. I didn't do this when my mother was in the hospital and was sorry I didn't. All the emotions swirling around and you forget what was said. It will help. Thoughts and strength being sent to you and David. HUGS. Also, when visiting your mom, talk to her, yell at her if necessary. I believe that she will hear you. Take care. Linda

I just googled and the closest hospital is in Sevierville - LeConte Medical Center. That might be a starting point if Kelly doesn't come back soon to let us know.

(((((HUGS))))) Kelly I just want to add my thoughts and prayers to the rest. I have been checking in every time I come online and am so saddened to hear that Mom is still not doing better. Try to take care of you so you will be able to take care of Mom when she does get well enough to come home.

Is there any chance that it could be Hantavirus? That could be why they asked about camping.

Have they considered west nile virus? I understand there is a big outbreak of that in Texas and other states. Don't know about symptoms only that mosquitoes carry it.
Hope she comes out of this OK.

David texted me around 4 this afternoon saying he'd called the hospital to check up on her. He said the nurse said to give them 24 hours to hopefully get an understanding of what's going on with her. I am hoping the results from the MRI will be the key. She is at LaConte Med Center in Sevierville, in ICU. If any of you wish to send a card you can send it here to the CG.

Thank you all again, from the bottom of my heart. I know her heart would swell, as mine has, to know she has all you wonderful ladies caring and praying for her and David and I.

Before Echo went to pick up her new trailer at Dawn's she gave us her name and address. I don't remember it. Beth could you find that post and publish it again so we could send her a card. Kelly, your Mom ,you, and David are being held up in prayer. Your mother is a strong lady and I know she will recover from this too. I can only say the same as others have..take care of yourself so you can be a care giver for your mother as she recovers from this illness. Is there someone that you can have at the hospital with you to help remember and record what the dr's and nurses tell you. don't be afraid to ask questions over and over again if you have to until you get a response that you can understand.

that was my thought too, as this frickin mosquito keeps buzzing around my face, some cases of west nile can be very very bad. You get it from mosquito bites.
