Not a big crowd for the class. That's Beth in blue and me in turquoise.

At a previous class, on the principle "No child left behind" Beth gets a little one on one instruction from a fellow dancer.

that looks like fun, something I would do, although we have a dance here
every saturday night, I've never been, don't have anyone to go with me.
Maybe I'll get over my shyness and take a peek one night. Can't hurt, right?

Ava, that's why I'm taking line dancing - cuz even the married ladies here do it - so I can go to the dances, and when they line dance, so can I! No partner needed.

LOL Sparkle - those devil horns fit you SO WELL. And that one-on-one instruction helped me lots - so I'm not the child left behind anymore - at least not at the moment :)

Sunuvagun that looks like fun!!!! I would join that dance group in a heartbeat!

Ava....don't be chicken! Go and see what it's like, and before you know it, you'll be right out there with the rest of 'em! Wish I lived near you, as I hate to do things alone, too...but we could make each other do it!

I must admit that it's been easier going to things with Jean here - BUT - I was going to some of them before - and after you go once, you meet some of the people and become expected - which is a good feeling. So, yep, don't let going by yourself the first time stop you - chances are you'll make new friends and won't need anyone else to accompany you.

I'm so glad line dancing is such a hit because I often will jump up and do a dance. In fact they were playing the Macarina(sp?) and after several Margaritas I jump up and danced in front of over 200 people in Mexico last week!
