Yipes ! Tuesday already and by gum it's Morning too !! Me Critters have me up way way too early...I mean it's just 3am..Seems my Joe (13yrs) can't make it till my morning..Oh well that's part of lovin them..but at the moment..(I ain't) So why waste good time..Right??? I have you Sista's to share my good fortune with...LOL...and then of course when I'm finished ..I'm jumping back to bed ...and that's a fact !!!!

This morning's art work is done by a friend of mine (in our art group) and I just thought I'd share it with you all...For those that have snow and for those that wish they did ...Here's your White Christmas...

Fernie so good to see you by the campfire...which means you are now back in Illinois with your family.. Enjoy dear friend..and all them goodies..oh I know you will...

RvGranny (Lori and Ernie) aaaaah I see the homestead is dressed up for Christmas..and I like that pavilion type set up..great to enjoy sitting under..cozy ..I can almost hear the Christmas Carols...and those 99 bottles of beer on the wall ..LOL...Lookin good !

Paulette....aaaaaaah you have been busy..decorating that home..I like them skinny trees.. cause I can't get around them full ones when they are in the corner..LOL but they look so neat..mine is in the box...(boo hoo) but next year I will put it up..... I love those Snowman Collections..aaaah Snowflakes hanging...You were busy...Did ya put in a scented candle... you know the cinnamon ones..???? Well done !!

SeeyaGal...(Jenny and Dan) Ya know I took a second look at Mrs Klaus...she sure don't look happy...but maybe she needs to sit at our campfire...LOL

Asirimarco..(Carol and Bill) boy oh boy I saw those numbers on the Grocery bill...I'd a fainted..holy smokes... I could see your face LOL you should see all of ours... thank gawd you is right.. it's Pesos !! Now that would have been a great picture... hahahahaha...Paramedics on the way

Marslet..(Sharlotte) I did see Ms Emma...and she's as cute as she can be...oh and I got your message you left... Robert called and said.."Sharlotte called, (house in Pa) make sure ya call her back.. and he was laughing... Now Sharlotte I'll be calling ya today..when I get back up LOL...

Well, I feel the urge to jump back in bed...cause looking over I see my two small ones snuggled in my pillows..and I'm gonna have to move them over..cause that's where my head is gonna be.... but in a few hours I'll have that coffee pot on...and my table will be set...that's for sure...have them big Cinnamon Buns ala Pillsbury..and oh yeah I have them dunkin Oatmeal cookies..(the batch I don't talk about ) and I'm gonna make a fritatta... sounds good to me..
and of course them there Biscotti...always reading for a quick dunk too !!

So..come one come all...grab me chairs and sit a spell.. We're all ears....Cedar, Echo, Ava, Shell and I know Soosie...she's adding more wood to her fire ..

Now check your lists cause, you only have 1 more day (OH MY) and then Santa will be hear......

Good Morning, Barb! LOVE your snowy scene...just like looking out my real window! Only it's 13 below zero here today, with a wind, making it equivalent to 30 below zero, says the weatherman!

Last day of school before vacation.....can't wait to get it over. Power was out here for me for quite a while yesterday and last night....used Honda generator and cranked up the heat so I couldn't see my breath any more in here! Re-stoked woodfire which had gone out while I was at school yesterday. Very glad to have power back on in this extreme coldness.

Thanks for the coffee.....gotta get going now and wrap up last secret santa presents, feed Molly and Twitch, get dressed in long undies and all, and head out into the freezer!

Gooooood Morning Sistahs!!!!

Oh my goodness I'm up and on. Woke up at 3:05 needing to do that potty run? Well I didn't go, I rolled back over and went back to sleep. Guess I didn't have to go that badly. Dang it I wish I had went then!! I woke up at 5:15 and there was no delaying it. ~sigh~ I was gonna sleep until 5:45 this morning. LOL Shade was really glad that Mom was finally getting up out of bed. By time I was done in the bathroom, dressed in jammies, coffee poured she was dancing at the back door. It's was wonder she wasn't giving me he77!! Had to let her out the door and then put my coat on to join her outside. I'm telling ya that she didn't waste any time going down them steps, across the deck and out into the yard. LOL I just she must have been ready to burst!!!!

It's a whole lot warmer out on my back porch this morning. Says 14f out there! Compared to yesterdays 4f and wind? It's a heat wave. The weather man says in the mid 50's for Christmas Day. Hmmmm We'll see what happens.

OMG! Shade just fell off the couch!!! She was up on a pillow and she must have been on the edge, but she rolled over or scratched or something?? Off she went! Gads I thought when I first heard her that she was grumping at the cat? I looked just in time to see she slide off the couch. She stood there looking at the couch then looked at me. Wondering what happened and hoping I didn't see!! LOLOLOL Did real good for herself tho, she landed on her feet!

So glad we finished up the last of the shopping on Saturday! I don't even want to think about going into any of the stores right now. Tho they do say the crowds aren't as bad this Christmas. Read a article online that because of the storms that stores are acting like flea markets and haggling prices with customers. And I guess that they really cut prices and that there are some real big bargains to be had. Be awesome if I had a big wallet to do that with! Oh well I guess I'll just have to put up with being beautiful instead of being rich. Tho I'm rich in the things that really count. Family, friends and my Shade!!!

Ok, time to pour another mug full of coffee and I'm gonna step back out on the porch for a few. So glad to see that we got another newbie!!! More Sistahs is a good thing!!! Welcome to dayspring39 a.k.a. Kathleen!!!

It's not too early here -- almost 7 mountain time so I'm up a little late. I was awake a couple of hours ago but made myself stay in bed. I have the bubblewrap foil insulation on the nearly all the windows, skylights, etc so it's hard to tell when we 1st get light in the sky, which isn't usually until about 7. We are at 4 degrees above zero. The wind has calmed down from yesterday's gale so maybe it will be a decent day. The chance of snow blew on by our little area. Prediction for today are to be colder than yesterday and below zero tonight. We are hoping it warms up close to freezing to make dumping the black tank easier. We have an ATV with a wagon to pull behind. We load the big blue boy into the wagon and haul it to the septic access pipe in the yard at the house, about 150 feet away. Sure it would be nice to have a dump site right here beside the barn but...it is what it is. We are just thankful to have 50 amp power, heat, and over 100 feet of water hose to fill the tanks when needed. Even that is challenging. We keep take the big roll of hoses to the house's bathroom tub to warm up for a few hours, then real quick unroll them, hook them to water then unhook, drain and restow them in our makeshift hose box -- a plastic Christmas wreath box. The wreath box wooks pretty good except in the cold and with all that weight a corner has broken off.

My sister's 1st granddaughter was born yesterday morning. Deb's son & daughter-in-law both have dark hair but the little gal is blonde like her new granny! Deb's hair is actually more red than blonde. With all our Irish blood lots of the family ended up red-heads. Both of my sisters have reddish blonde hair that is quite curly. Mine has only a tinge of red, mostly blonde going grey! I guess the new little girl will be named after Misty's grandmother (we aren't sure of the exact spelling or pronunciation) -- Adelee or something like that. At 1st we thought it was Atalee. We'll find out more today.

Dad just went out to dump kitchen wood stove ashes so he's about to get the fire going to make coffee. Hey gals it's a pleasure to cook with a woodstove. They save electricity and it really warms the house up, in fact when Mom & I are in the kitchen working it's sometimes too hot (near 85). The have 2 woodstoves in the house and it makes for a cozy warmth despite part of the house was built around 1910.

Yesterday Paul, Mom & I went to Chadron to shop for groceries for the upcoming company and pick up a few last minute gifts. It was supposed to get up almost to freezing but we only managed 22.

I see clouds are moving in from the west so I bet we won't make 15 today. So, our blue boy runs may have to be postponed until tomorrow or Christmas day. Oops, better go, here come the wild turkeys running down the lane and hollering at me!

We'll probably spend Christmas day cutting firewood and dumping our black tank since it is supposed to be our 1st day above freezing for 2 weeks.

Our morning view out of the MH windshield -- jack frost painted glass (on the inside) we have to run our front fans to dry it off. We only get it because we block cold air next to the glass with our windshield cover (bubble wrap foils stuff). But it keeps the interior warmer so...we just dry it off daily.

Top of the mornin to all - though for most of you its not morning any more. Got up just as it was getting light out - or so I thought - and it was already 7:25 lots of morning clouds. But looks like it will be a beautiful day with little or no wind.
Should be a stay at home day too as Bill has A COLD - when ever he gets a cold it is A COLD - never heard so much snuffing and sneezing. What is it with men? Hopefully it only lasts a day as I am not a good nurse. More like "Get your own tissue."
Went down to the boat ramp last evening and watched the sunset - so pretty.
Cannot believe some of the weather in the states - every one stay bundled up, warm and safe. I'm starting to rethink our staying in Indiana next winter hummmmmmmm

I slept in, can't believe it, its after 8 o'clock already and I'm on my second cup of coffee.
Everything is looking pretty shipshape around here for my company but still lots of
detail to do yet, wash walls and windows and then of course the routine stuff I do
anyway. Still struggeling with that water leak, thought it was only leaking when the
water was on but its leaking all the time so gotta do something about that today.
I did put a pan under there to catch the drip but I didn't put it in the right place so
it missed just off the edge, I think I need to replace the faucet. Thats the biggie
on my list today so catch ya all later, I'll be checking in from time to time.

Good morning! I'm so happy I got to enjoy that winter snow scene out your window and not mine. It is soo pretty from my FL perspective.

Soissew, it's nice you have septic access as close as you do, and don't have to go find a dump station some where. I wish I had one at my house...wonder if they're even allowed in the city limits as I am...hmmm Those turkeys sure spread the word when there's a free handout, don't they? Thanks for taking care of them....they are fun to watch. Do they fight over the feed?

Nasoosie...good thing you have that generator and the wood stove; at least you can survive those days without power, even though it's no fun.

Echo, I have the same problem you do....if it's not the pets waking me up, it's my bladder. As for me, I've given up being either beautiful or rich!

Good Morning all !
I'm seeing a little blue sky here so maybe we'll have a decent day ! Yesterday turned out to be a great day, Molly and I managed to get to the beach twice - there was more sun then rain and I saw an awesome rainbow ! It was so bright I could see all the ROYGBIV colors. I didn't have my camera ready, but the picture is definetly in my mind so that's good
I looked at the forecast and the next 2 days says "rain/wind/thunder" so I better get out today !!!

Good Afternoon......been busy getting food stuff around to do Christmas snacking a day early.....a camping neighbor is going home tomorrow (he's a contractor working here on the Navy Base.) so Mike, Donna, and us wanted to do some "cheer" for him....made real Swedish meatballs and other snacks for lunch....put everything away safely for tomorrow when the 4 of us will do our "cheer".....already stuffing myself....

No big wind today, but it is still cloudy....Warmth is to come tomorrow....
