YAY Lynn!!! Looks like we're getting a really awesome group for this gtg. Now, come on all you other west coasties, there are still some spots left!!!

To answer your amp question, there will be a 30amp plug in the same pedestal so you should be fine.

You can buy a 50 to 30 amp plug. I got mine at WalMart. Woops, Laura just answered the question.

Lynn, am looking forward to meeting all of you. My dog will be with also. While there are times and places I work with her off leash - I'm careful of where I am and of respecting the rules and agree - because I love her, she's on a leash where I feel there's any danger for her to not be.

Lots of places say 50 amp and by it usually mean that it'll have 50, 30 and 20 on the pedestal. They expect you to know that. But there will be a place somewhere that says 50 and means just 50 - I haven't found that yet.

As it gets closer thought we might do some coordinating on snacks, etc. Adult beverages, soft drinks, potlucks, etc. Can ya tell I am getting excited.

OK GREAT. Now we know where everyone will be. We are all located close to one another so that will be great. The restrooms and showers are close too, another plus. Now if the weather just cooperates, or not (this IS Oregon so it can go either way) we will still have a great time...we will just find the biggest awning to hang under.

Laura (CougarFan) has located the Banner and it will be proudly displayed at one of our campsites.

Question: Can anyone propose a more interesting (less scary!) route south from Portland than I-5? All I can picture is me hogging the right lane while the truckers weave in and out. When I asked Google Maps to "avoid highways," it threw me east through Bend! Ideas please? [Can you tell I'm getting excited?]
