And a Good Morning to everyone,
Gosh, middle of the week already, time is going by. Actually it's the start of my next work week. Been off the past couple of days, so now back to the grind. And tonight is our end of season staff party before some of our college students start leaving for school again. I picked up the plates, cups, silverware and napkins yesterday, my share of bringing something. Since I am working to 6:30 and party starts at 7, that was the easiest thing to bring for me.
Breakfast was bagel and strawberries this morning. Toasted in my little toaster oven, since my toaster died. May as well use the oven since I have it here. Does great job. Will eventually get new toaster. Have eggs, sausage, muffins and toast if anybody wants any.
Tessa's checkup at the vet came out very well yesterday. Her higher levels a bacteria are down to just about none and the other levels are pretty much normal again, so the infection is going away. I take her back next week to our regular vet who was on vacation and go from there. May have to keep her on antibiotics for awhile to make sure it's all cleared up. These aren't bothering her and she's prretty well her normal self. She's never been an overly active dog to begin with. Kind of always just laid around except when it was showtime. Right now she's curled up on her bed here, snoozing away. Had a busy week with doggie baths on Monday, vet appt. yesterday and a trip up to Burt Lake State Park with a nice long walk through the woods, full of all kinds of doggie sniffs. Looks very content right now.
Looks like all eyes are on Dawn and Janice as they get their new rigs and get ready to hit the road to new adventures. And Linda, no, I don't have any desire to drive a MH that big even for advertising purposes, although I would love to be doing the promotion part and giving out info, talking to people etc. I believe that is just a one year thing for this year only.
BarbZee, ssounds like all you test came out fairly normal considering all the "stuff' like stents and so forth in your heart. My goodness girl, you're going to be bionic women with all that. Take care now and follow the doctors orders. Love your sense of humor. Actually laughter is the best medicine.
Ava, don't know how anybody can work and do anything in 116 degrees. Man, that's hot. But I guess we adjust to whatever we have to. Won't be much longer and you can leave it all behind, retire and hit the road to new adventures too. I'm watching your little line at the bottom of your signature.
Hope none of our sisters are near any of the areas where those terrible wildfires are burning. Watching the pictures on the news is saddening with all those homes going up in flames and so far one firefighter and one other lady have been killed. Then there was the big storm in TX as well. I'm not complaining about our near perfect weather up here in MI right now. So thankful for it.
Well, guess it's time to move along here. Got to get ready for work in a little while. Wish I were going in a bit earlier as I'm up and full of energy and ready to roll here. Couple of more weeks and will probably be back to the 8 shift all the time. Usually after Labor Day we all shift back. Park is slowly slowing down and the week before Labor Day, the reservations are showing a big drop. Labor Day weekend we will fill up and then after that, not much going on. The seniors will be out camping after all the families are gone although we have had a lot of them this summer too. We will be doing other projects in the park before we all leave at the end of Sept. as well.
Wishing all of you a wonderful day.
