And now for the rest of the story..... Mitch was an AWESOME hostess!! She went over and above to make sure I had a great time and was comfortable. The vittles were great, even her experiments! She sent me off with tomatoes, chicken and a huge peach. My next purchase will definitely be one of those smokers, that was fabulous! She was ready to send me off with hers and buy another one for herself. I assured her I could order it from my son's when I get back there. I happened to mention on our trip to Paris that I had never been to Kentucky, so the next day she changed the plans that she had made to go get minnows for her pond fish and took me to Kentucky! What a great day we had sightseeing. We found a very promising mexican restaurant that turned out to not be so good, but hey, how else are you gonna find out if you don't try it? I took some pictures of Paris (that makes 4 Paris' I've been to if you count the Perris near me), Kentucky and the mad lawn mower (don't get in that woman's way when she's on the mower!!!) and proof that I was in Kentucky (looks the same as Tennessee), but can't get the pictures to upload onto PB. :( She showed me how fast she can take a corner in a Versa and how fast her reflexes are when a deer hops out onto the hiway (make sure you wear a well padded bra when you ride with her, elsewise you might have a bruise or two!! :o ) As I mentioned before, I love this gal! Can't wait to go back!

Woke up this morning and it was thundering and raining and thought I might have to stay another day, but it cleared up and I was off! Got here to Lebanon at the usual place I stay when in the area, and the dang battery is dead on the car again!! I'm not a happy camper! Going to go out and put the battery charger on it and then dis-connect the battery in the morning when I leave so that I know for sure it will start when I get to Sevierville tomorrow. What a pain!!

You two seem to have had a great time! Thanks for the pix, Mitch. They're helping me get to know some of you. And would you post a picture of your "little smoker box"? or a link to it? Please? Does it go into a grill or is it a stand-alone appliance?

Too late....already ordered....however, free shipping is only available if you get a Amazon credit card....and I don't have
one and don't want another card to worry about.....Had my Visa card stolen a few years ago & they charged $20K over a weekend.....it was a nasty experience. Anyhow I use my BofA Visa with Shopsafe....that way the card is only good for the amount I order it.. Works really good for me....
Can't wait to get my Smoker & give it a try....

As far as I know, with Amazon, you only have to spend $25 of qualifying product to get free shipping.
I don't have an Amazon cc.

For future reference, from Amazon's Website:

FREE Super Saver Shipping

FREE shipping on Orders $25 and Over (some restrictions apply).

To take advantage of FREE Super Saver Shipping:

Place at least $25 of eligible Amazon.com products in your Shopping Cart. (Eligible items will display "eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping ..." next to their price.)
Proceed to checkout.
Ship your items to a single U.S. address.
Select "Group my items into as few shipments as possible" as your shipping preference.
Select Super Saver Shipping as your shipping speed. Your order will be delivered within 5-8 business days.
Place your order, and enjoy the free shipping!

With this shipping option, we fulfill your order in a more cost-efficient way. This allows us to pass our savings on to you in the form of free shipping. While it might take some extra time to pack and ship your order, you'll still receive it within the estimated delivery time frame.

You still have to shop around. Sometimes it's cheaper someplace other than Amazon, even taking into account the free shipping. If Amazon is just a bit over another place, I'll still order with Amazon because they have a pretty darn good return policy.

I order on Amazon all the time - even my hot chocolate - so it's so easy to get free shipping and not purchase things I don't need. And I always use the free shipping option. It makes it so worthwhile! It's good on products that AMAZON carries and ships - not on products sold on Amazon, but not theirs or shipped by them. In fact, when I shop on Amazon, I search for the product, then go down on the left of the screen and look only at the ones with "free super saver shipping" when honing down to the "one". I got free shipping on the solar panels and inverter, etc for my rv! Paid several hundred less than buying them through the rv shop who installed for me. They told me to go for it - was afraid they'd want me to purchase through them. Said nope, they'd make only a couple more dollars that way - would get their money on my installation! And it was the SAME product they would have carried. Also got the free shipping on the 4 tires I got for my car this summer - delivered to me in Alaska!
