((((((((Hugs))))))))) Marslett. It always hurts to lose one's parents, no matter what the circumstances. I still have a hard time realizing that mine are no longer a phone call away and that I am now at the top of my family tree. It's been since 1984 that my father was found dead in his home in FL, and I still hear his voice in my head now and then.
Time will help your brother and you, but talking about the fun times with other family members always seemed to help me concentrate on the good living times rather than the endings.
And never forget just how much of your father is still alive and kicking in both you and your brother! It is easy to see, actually. You are both his legacy and his place still in this world.
