Good morning !!! Going to be a stormy Friday here, weather report says. Instead of enjoying my coffee and setting here, I should be out getting r.v. ready to go. I have an app. to have gen fixed. It was last on my list of places but at least they returned my call and made an app. which is much more then 10 other places did. This has been a very trying time and I was almost ready to just drive this thing back to Texas where I got it. I will let you know about service etc. after Monday, as this app. is with Camping World, and I know what some of you think One in Fl. is where we had our gen in old r.v. put in, so think and soooo hoping they do know what they are doing , at least they are listed in Onan repair book I have.

Yesterday, was a good day, with getting an app. for r.v., so now maybe I can do some things around here. What a mess everywhere I look I have things out in r.v.too, some to bring in house and some to put away, so think thats what I will do first. Just so hard to be out in it, I just want to crank it up and go, somewhere, anywhere

Janice, saw you closed, I am soooo happy for you, wish I was at that point. I'm just in the real mess of it all, what to do with some things and who to get to fix some things. Having no one here in area, to help with anything makes it so hard. Dr. apps. and finding somewhere to get gen fixed ,have taken up this time, so I will head out for holidays and winter probably still in same mess. Hopefully I will get more sorted and hauled off to thrift shops, etc. I am taking some things to my daughter in Fl. when I go. Now, my mower won't start, so something else to fix, neighbor is going to continue to mow for me, at least this month, I hope.

Well, enough of my woes, now you all see why I have not been on more, But it does feel better having somewhere to go, for gen, Now just hoping they can fix it. Oh well, will let it go for today and get on with something else that needs doing.

Carol, your days sound like what mine have been like. Will for sure be keeping my fingers crossed that you get the genny fixed!!

There is so much that I need to be doing and just have no freaking interest in doing any of it. So much to move, clear out and clean up. ~sigh~ Not feeling at my peak this morning either. I have got a wicked headache at the moment so just took a couple of Aleve to attack that along with my BP meds and the anti-informatory that the doc gave me for my hand. The only reason that I'm up and dressed was to take Shade out to do her morning P. I would sooooo love to go back to bed but can't. The couple that is getting the older trailer is coming over this morning sometime cause the male half of the couple is gonna put the wheels back on for me. I am really happy that he is gonna do that as I am not suppose to be lifting with my hand. CRAP!!!! &*%#(%$^& GRRRRRR Sure now it's got to freaking start raining. Damn it!!! Have also got boxes and totes to take over to the storage room. I got a 5x10 storage room yesterday so that we wont have anything extra in the trailer that we don't need at this time. And I wont have any totes under the trailer either.

OK, gonna go read and see what ya'll have been up to.Hope there is a good day to be had by all. Stay safe and have fun.

GOOD MORNING CAROL AND ALL!

It's so overwhelming when things that can go wrong do so all at once, Carol. I am really hoping that Camping World will come through for you and the generator. Is that work still under waranty? I am hoping it is. I hope your swollen feet and ankles and legs are shrinking down to more normal size, too. That is always worrisome, even though it seems to be a common ailment these days for many people. As for the lawnmower, I would say pay the neighbor forever, if he/she will keep the job!

When is your generator appointment? And how far is Camping World for you? Will they let you and Maggie "camp out" while they work on it, I hope? If so, think of this as a camping trip and getting away from the work taunting you at home! It sounds as if you have made the decision to sell your rooted home? Once you get that generator fixed, your new home-on-wheels should be all you need to worry about, and no lawns to mow any more! Hope you find some rest while generator work gets done!

It poured and thundered and lightninged for about two solid hours early this morning here, which drove Molly to seek refuge from both under my sleeping bag with me until dawn when it all ceased! We got about two inches of much-needed rain in the melee, which is a good thing, and the lightning was not as close as it could have been. Molly calmed right down as soon as she got close to me, which is better than usual when she shakes and quivers the night away. I think those few but violent thunderstorms we experienced in FL winters has made her more used to the milder storms we get up here.

Porta Potty pumper truck arrived bright and early this morning, and got us ready for the Ruckus. I asked him if he could pump Richard's tank out, and he said "sure" so that saved him from heading to Buck Pond Campsite to dump. He didn't even charge him anything as he said there was too little in the tank to even bother with!

The free Music on the Beach event was canceled last night as the weather was menacing-looking, (we should have called before we drove over the mountain, I guess) so Richard and I went to the Little Supermarket, bought some goodies and reading material, and came back here to an early bedtime. We did meet up with George and Conchita, his pocket pooch, at the beach and it was fun to see him again. He said he will stop by Sunday and Monday, before his scheduled surgery on Tuesday, to visit with everyone, but will probably not camp.

Last minute setting-up of tables and places to hang out in case of rain or too much sun during the Ruckus today. Richard's birthday is Sunday, and I plan to have a cake to celebrate that event.

Gotta go get laundry which turned out perfectly in the newer Samsung washer yesterday! Hope all have a good and fun day, and a safe travel day.

Good morning everyone. I've had 2 cups of coffee and I don't seem to be able to get my engine started. I've been tired and run down since we got back from our trip. My get up and go got up and left. Closed this morning around 10:00. Supposed to be funded this afternoon or Monday. Called MHSRV and I can pick up my MH at 2:00 on Monday. Now in the process of finishing the emptying of the 5er. As soon as empty, will sweep and clean carpets.
I a filling the house up again with the things from the 5th wheel. Then will have to move back into the MH on Monday or Tuesday. Back and forth I go.

Matt already has a crew here working on the fence line where he wants to plant the climbing roses. That will be so pretty next year when they are all blooming. I am going to have come see them! They are pumping out the pool too since I did not get the leaves out of it this year. I am sure I will be hearing machinery going everyday from now till I can pull out of the driveway on the way to my new life. I think it's going to be good not to have so much silence other than the TV.

I am so happy for you...this has truly been an ordeal but given time and forgiveness by all you will be enjoying family reunions again. I was happy to read that no matter what words were said, you won't be looking back. This doesn't mean you won't always hold your life with Chuck close to your heart. He is rejoicing with you at this moment. The beautiful America's are awaiting you, your mom and brother. I want to come to Branson while you're there. We will try out the new roller coaster at SDC....ha ha I will if you will!
