And now for the rest of the story.....
Mitch was an AWESOME hostess!! She went over and above to make sure I had a great time and was comfortable. The vittles were great, even her experiments! She sent me off with tomatoes, chicken and a huge peach. My next purchase will definitely be one of those smokers, that was fabulous! She was ready to send me off with hers and buy another one for herself. I assured her I could order it from my son's when I get back there. I happened to mention on our trip to Paris that I had never been to Kentucky, so the next day she changed the plans that she had made to go get minnows for her pond fish and took me to Kentucky! What a great day we had sightseeing. We found a very promising mexican restaurant that turned out to not be so good, but hey, how else are you gonna find out if you don't try it? I took some pictures of Paris (that makes 4 Paris' I've been to if you count the Perris near me), Kentucky and the mad lawn mower (don't get in that woman's way when she's on the mower!!!) and proof that I was in Kentucky (looks the same as Tennessee), but can't get the pictures to upload onto PB.
She showed me how fast she can take a corner in a Versa and how fast her reflexes are when a deer hops out onto the hiway (make sure you wear a well padded bra when you ride with her, elsewise you might have a bruise or two!!
) As I mentioned before, I love this gal! Can't wait to go back!
Woke up this morning and it was thundering and raining and thought I might have to stay another day, but it cleared up and I was off! Got here to Lebanon at the usual place I stay when in the area, and the dang battery is dead on the car again!! I'm not a happy camper! Going to go out and put the battery charger on it and then dis-connect the battery in the morning when I leave so that I know for sure it will start when I get to Sevierville tomorrow. What a pain!!
