Wednesday, weeks half gone !!!!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Wednesday, weeks half gone !!!!

Postby Carolinagal » Wed Aug 08, 2012 6:51 am

Good morning !!! Having a hard time finding someone to fix my Gen. I'd like it done by next two weeks, would love to go to Kansas for my grandson's finals, in tie down. Can't attend a rodeo out there without a running gen., still way hot. If I can't get it done, won't be able to go, and I'm not liking that.

Other then feeling a fit coming on, cause I can't have my way here, everything else is ok, I think LOL One more test, the stress test I don't think I will be glowing as much as you Zeee, I have to walk this one, if I understand directions right. Not sure how that is going to go, as I haven't had a good walk in months. Wish I could have had all my test as fast as you did, I'd be gone from here.

No real news, to much work, to many things to do and I don't want to do any of it !!! Is that a sign I am reverting to childhood ???

I'm not sure how everyone else is on here, I hope you all are well, other things can be fixed, most of the time.

Have a great day, whatever you choose to do, stay safe, but have fun,

CArol :)

Morning. I had to leave my perfect little camping spot and come home....sigh. Time to get a few things done around the house before I leave again next Wednesday for a week. Then will come home and stay put for a few weeks until the Pacific NW GTG. After that I guess I will have to go back to work for a bit. Need to replenish the "slush" fund.

Will finish unloading the Motorhome this morning before it gets too hot. I had planned to totally unload it and get it parked yesterday but it was soooo hot and I had a splitting headache so deferred it until this morning. Headache is gone so no excuses for this morning.

Good morning Carol, Karen, Kathleen & everyone!

Carol, I hope you get the generator fixed so you can leave for the rodeo.

Karen, enjoy your camping trips, in between replenishing your slush fund.

Kathleen, hopefully you'll get the electrical problem fixed real soon!

It's warm in MD, but not as warm as other areas of the country. I spent this past weekend staying with my parents as their caretaker was concerned about Dad's health issues and didn't think they should be alone all weekend. They seemed to feel really comfortable knowing I was there in case they needed something. They enjoyed some of the home cooked meals Mom used to fix us and I left them with lots of leftovers.

The last two days, the tree people have been here removing lots of trees on the south side of our house which the power company says is in their right of way. The poor yard looks so naked now. We'll get some low lying bushes to replace the large trees to make it look not so bare. Sigh.

Nothing exciting is going on here so I will check the board to see how everyone else is.

Morning CArol, Karen, Kathleen and all who follow.

CArol sure hope you can find someone to fix your genny soon. Karen, the going is always fun, the cleaning out when you get back, not so much. Kathleen, be sure and let us know what your first project with new sewing machine is going to npbe.

Sure hope I get to close today. The Settlement Statement was emailed to youngest DD yesterday afternoon. Hopefully she will agree to sign it. If she does, the title company will send a Notary to her today. So anxious to get this finished and get the show on the road. Matt already had a crew down behind the stock pond yesterday to start clearing out that part of the acreage. We had not used that area for about 20 years and it is really overgrown. I know he is down to the wire on this, so have told him he can get started on whatever he needs to do.

As soon as we get funded, I can call MHSRV and tell them to get my new home ready for me to pick up. If we close today, hope I can pick her up on Friday or Saturday at the latest. Paul is putting me a shore line to hook up to electric at Mom's. Matt has to fix the well and my plug in for the RV's has always been in the well house. Matt will have to have the electric cut off to the well house while he fixes the well pipe. Will just make it a little further to move stuff from the house to the RV, but I'll use Mom's little pull wagon to load up and transfer. The oldest and middle DD's have said they will get me moved. My SIL is taking tomorrow and Friday off again this week to help. Matt has volunteered a crew of 5 or so to help me move boxes too. Thank goodness for family and friends. Got to get the big dogs to the new place during all this too.

Everyone have a wonderful day and if you are traveling, stay safe.

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

Have got an appointment this morning at the health clinic at work to get my BP scripts updated. Also gonna have my left eye checked out too. Dang thing has been bugging me for 3yrs now. I thought it was allergies while out in AZ and figured it would correct itself when I got back here to TN. Well it hasn't so need to have it looked at. ~sigh~

Kelly and I both have today off so that is good. The mobile repair guy is suppose to come back over to install a new fan in the A/C unit today. Kelly will be here and present for him to work on/in the trailer sand I an go to my appointment! Nothing much else planned for today other than moving stuff and checking into getting a small storage room. Need to get off my tookus and dressed so I can get to appointment.

Dawn!!! Will keep my fingers crossed for ya today! Lots of luck in getting it all done.

Hope ya'll have a really good day, stay safe as you can and have lots of fun.

Love to all

Fingers crossed Dawn that youngest doesn't gum up the works again and you get closed.

Echo getting old is hell isn't it - always something. Take care of yourself.

Carol - hope your genny gets fixed and you can go camping - and yes, it's too hot to be without one if you don't have shore power.

All of a sudden my eyes and nose are running - I must be allergic to work. That's it!

Well, I'm in like Flinn....My Internet took a brief sabbatical.. I have been up for hours and of course you all know how that goes when you wanna do something (Carolinagal) and ya can't..then I went onto a Pot of Coffee....I was Energized (like that Soap Powder Ms Vickie) and I was racing with the Moon...OMG... no internet , no TV, no Tickee no washee../hahaha...yes, I was zooming around the house... Got the Critters done, hubby out the door and then WHAT DO I DO....KNIT..yep put on another 2 inches (Ms Wendy LOL ) and I finally came and sat at the computer and "There She Be" just waiting for ME>...YEAH>>>>>>

Good to see you posting Carol..and hey, glad you won't glow too much..but it would be neat..we could glow together and light up the whole dang campground hahahaha... Sorry about the Genny thing..cause you know I had mine fixed in Georgia...(Still on my mind)...It's a shame really you buy something and then trying to find a repair shop.. Wish I had an answer but maybe call the MFG..and tell them you post this about their product and how crappy it is on the service to get things fixed..Might work...Have you tried Googling it.. I know that sounds wild..but I've googled so much lately.. nothing surprises me..

Karen...I hear that inner voice saying.."you wanted to stay longer"...that's how I always felt when I went some place..could have stayed forever... oh but Slush fund..hahaha..now that does sound interesting :) Everyone's eyes that reads this morning will definitely light up..:)

Kathleen.. so you are ready to zip on that "new" sewing machine...well I can't wait to hear on what you are gonna make..remember PICTURES tell it all !!

Dawn, Gawd..you know I'm praying things will go smoothly..and you'll be able to get that Rig set up..and on to the next event in your life...

Echo...what can I say.. You is just having those times of your life..Up, down, like that dang roller coaster..maybe you should start making reservations for your next chain of events...Hey, you get to Walmart to fill out app yet ?

Irmi, it's good that you were able to spend some time with your parents and fix those home cooked meals..I remember those days with my Momma..Our weather here in the North East hasn't been too awfully bad..but our night rains have been hard... Hoping all will go well for you .....and maybe I'll get to meet you in Florida ...

Maggie, ain't nothing wrong with being Allergic to work...I find myself lately coming up with all good ones LOL

Hey Lori and Ernie...I'm enjoying those pictures.. and I did love Wyoming...but wow when the wind blows..it Blows Big in Wyoming !!!! Really looking forward to seeing you both when you come to Florida..Ya Hear !!!!

Ok, I'm gonna do some reading now that I have internet...Whoopie...and then gonna make a meat loaf for my crock pot and oh I got a recipe for Baked Macaroni that you don't cook the noodles and whip all together and put in oven...I'll try it that way first then see if I can convert recipe to my other crock pot down the road...so that's what's for dinner in my house ..and I am making a Pa Dutch Apple Pie..that recipe is on the forum...

And to All that are popping in to peek...!

May God's Blessing Shine Down on All

Zeee and her Zany Critters and EVIL Parrot..hahaha...

Good morning all!!

I've got a lot of catching up to do on the forum as it has been a while since I was on here. Nothing much news worthy going on around here as I'm still pretty much stuck in the house to avoid the heat. Feeling much like Carolinagal - too many things need attention/repairs, etc and not in the mood to deal with any of it.

I did dust my WiiFit off the other day and am trying to get back into routine of using it daily. Know from experience it helps keep me moving.

Hope each of you have something fun planned for the rest of the week.

GOOD LATE MORNING TO ALL!

I've been getting caught up on older posts in the other rooms and was amazed at how far behind I have become these past two weeks. Lots has been going on, and Barbzee is so thorough in her morning coffee posts it sort of keeps me thinking I am hearing everything!! Hence, I sign on and off quickly to get things done around here, without reading all the posts in the other rooms.

Sure is good to see some words from Carol this morning----good luck with your last test. I received an invitation in the mail yesterday to go have another of those "screening" series of tests done locally to determine the condition of my blood vessels and how much they are clogged since my last series a couple of years ago. I have very mixed feelings about doing this, as I am sure the blood pipes are more and more clogged, and when I find out that they are, then what??? I am already taking all the meds for cholesterol and high blood pressure I can take and still have a liver. I am feeling sort of like Arlo Guthrie who doesn't want to know if he had the same disease his father died of years ago. If I thought there was anything they could do with the info they will get to help me live longer, then I would be happier. They will also do a bone density test, which is very superficial, and I will have to tell them I have taken myself off Fosamax since all the bad controversy about that drug. Sigh.

It's a very comfy 78 degrees outside in the sun now, and a cool 51 here in the trailer.....almost too cool for me! Lowes delivery guy called and said the new washing machine would be delivered tonight between 5 and 7 o'clock----a late delivery, if you ask me, but oh well. That leaves the entire day free to get other stuff done, or just loll around and watch Orion so Mandy can get her school paper done and over with. She's been working on this huge writing project for years now, and needs it to ensure her tenure.

I hope everyone is having a fun day and that the weather will be favorable for whatever you need to do.

Wendy, I want to take Mom to Busch Gardens while we are there. May stay a few days later, if possible since I want to see some high school classmates who live around there too.

Good morning gals!

Slept good last night and slept in late this morning. Nice cool breeze coming in thru the windows and blown around by the wonderful ceiling fan! Feels so refreshing! Love looking out at the woods behind us here. Just a block from town but feel like I am up in the northern woods of MN.

Finally calming down after laughing my a$$ off from Mitch's post on the Campfire thread! I think I woke my roommates up I was laughing so hard!

Was just thinking about Linda (bikerchic) and wondering what she is up to. Better send her an e-mail and find out.

Gonna be lazy today until I go to work later. Got such great tips yesterday it makes me anxious to get back to work! Lots of men coming in there. I did 2 women and 16 men yesterday. I think this will be a great place to work. Really like the manager too! Funny how one GC's can be so different from another!

Hope you all have a good, fun and/or productive day!

Good morning everyone. It is still technically morning. Got back to Houston yesterday. Yikes, the heat  and air conditioning not working properly :x I want to go back to Maine :D Picked up my fury baby from the kennel and boy am I glad to see him! I hate leaving him in the kennel at all, let alone for 2 weeks.

I have a lot of respect for all you that are traveling and keep your blogs and forum up to date. I was able to read the forum and blogs but every time I tried to post I got kicked off and back to the login screen :x So I've got my fingers crossed that this will post OK.

So I'm off to catch up on laundry, etc. I'm wishing everyone a cool, happy and safe "hump" day. Aloha
