Happy Winter Solstice to all!!!!

The first day of Winter, the longest night of the year and the shortest day of the year. And a beginning to the rebirth of Spring.

Believe it or not no matter the weather, it's all down hill from here to Spring! LOL

No matter the beliefs, no matter the traditions or how Christmas supposedly got it's start. It has become almost a complete world wide holiday.

I want to wish everyone a wonderful Holiday Season.

I always love the first day of winter 'cause the days start getting longer now - wee ha !!!!!
It was a really nice morning, well really till about 2, then the rain started - but it's still just rain ! I talked to my sister in Iowa and it's 1 there with a wind chill of -30 - I'll take the rain.

Today is the 7th anniversary of my Maincoon's Gotcha Day. His name is, of course, Solstice.
We have a ton of snow and I had to shovel a path for Monty to go potty. I almost didn't as it was so funny to watch him bunny hopping thru the snow.
