Ali, I was thinking the same thing. We aren't supposed to outlive the one we protected and cared for from infancy...so very sad. My prayers for entire family. May God's loving arms enfold you.

I talked to Margie today. They are on their way back home to FL. It's been a very rough week for her as you can imagine. It will be 4-6 months b4 she hears the results of the autopsy. It appears that he had some heart issues he was not taking care of and some alcohol he couldn't/wouldn't control. They will be doing a Memorial Service soon for his 9 yo daughter. She is appreciating all the warm well wishes from the sistahs and when she can she will post on here. As you can imagine this is most difficult for her. None of us ever thing we will outlive our children.

Why will it take that long for the results? Seems like an awfully long time.

The sudden and unexpected deaths are sometimes more difficult too. No time for good-bye's and lots of unanswered questions and "what if's" and "if only's"... all normal parts of the grieving process.

My thoughts and prayers continue to be with her and her family as they deal with this.
