Welcome to the forum Running. Hope you totally enjoy your travels in your Airstream. I have a 2007 Class A 34' DP but haven't used it much this year. Hope to head out in a couple of weeks. I'm in CA

Welcome, Running. I'm new here - so new in fact that I don't know the phrase "Running the line." Sounds exciting though! I'm in Washington, starting to look for my first dream "home" and new to RVing. I looked at a 22' Airstream on the dealer's floor a few months back, before I decided against towing, and ooh-wee! It was pretty!

Ontario to South Carolina and back is no short haul. Obviously you have a lot to teach a newcomer like me! Good to "meet" you! :)

Welcome! I too pull a trailer, but mine is all part-time. I just finished a degree in Accounting, a Masters, at the age of 55 but fortunately, still have a job and I'm looking for something within the company in my field. I hope to work another 7 years or so before retiring and able to travel freely.

By the way, and you will be told repeatedly, we love pictures!

Welcome, Running! Glad to have you with us. Hope you can find a way to use your degree, make money, and get down south for the winter. I certainly understand if you can't. Unfortunately, like you, I still need to make money. I find myself going for less money and workamping - so that I can continue living my dream. Like you, I'm happiest when I can get behind the wheel and travel on down the road. But I also enjoy my sojourns for a few months or so meeting new people. By the time I might get fed up with the people I work with, or ready for something new, I'm headed back out.

Sounds like the past few months have been fairly traumatic - but that you have handled it all beautifully. We ARE women, we ARE strong, etc ...

Welcome Running. We do love pictures so anytime just show us pictures. I am from Florida, but traveled around Alaska this year. Will be heading back down the Alaskan highway shortly. If you are anywhere close pm me and Tina and I will stop and meet you. We are traveling slow and looking at everything we can.

We do look forward to all the animals that we passed on the way through Canada as we pass back through.

Welcome to the forum. Keep exploring the options. It sounds as if you are already good and evaluating the information that is all a part of our lives and making some readjustments as needed. Hope to meet you down the road. As Johnny Bench said...."find something that you love to do (and would do for free) and then find someone who will pay you for it!"

Welcome to the forum!!! I, too, hope that all goes well with the job hunt.....by the way, there is a company that hires folks to sell ad space to RV Parks, etc, that has folks traveling...I don't remember the name, but maybe someone will jump in with it....just a thought of the top of my head, but cha' never know.... ;) They may need some one to do the photos for them...

Welcome 'Running'.

I'm new to both the forum & Airstreams - mine is the kind you drive though... an Airstream Interstate - I pick it up next week.

I know what you mean - the time on the road is when I feel truly free - from schedules, responsibilities, etc. Just me, my wheels, the road, the sky & the beauty of the land as it rolls by...

Looking forward to meeting you down the road. :)

Hello & welcome to the forum. I am a newbie as well. Just 3 yrs ago I was divorced after 32 yrs of marriage. I am in the planning Stage of getting ready to full time? I think, to start with, I will tow because I only want to deal with and maintain one engine, etc. The members of this forum are great and most are in different stages of "claiming their lives". I get a lot of inspiration from them. Hope to meet you on the road. Aloha, Red
