Good Morning, Good Morning it's WEDNESDAY

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Good Morning, Good Morning it's WEDNESDAY

Postby Barbzeee » Wed Aug 01, 2012 5:58 am

Good Morning, Good Morning it's Wednesday and I'm gonna be off to visit the Nuclear Scientist !!!
Well that's how I feel...I mean I'm gonna be in a room when this young man comes in with a led box and gloves and Wah La as he opens it ...It Glows..:) Amazing isn't it.. I mean to be injected and wonder...Where is this all going ????? and will I light up the room ???? :o

Had another good night sleep.. I'm telling ya I'm overwhelmed with finally getting in some ZZZZZZZZZs and waking up not feeling tired...now if only the rest of my body would move as fast as my finger tips...AMEN....

Wanting a cup of Coffee but no can do..ONLY WATER...so I keep telling myself that Coffee (if you can believe this) is only HOT COLORED WATER....well that works for me...(only for the time being).. So that is my day for me today and come Friday too...

Marslet (Sharlotte) Prayers go out to Sharlotte of her father's passing.. Please keep them in your prayers !

Barbie (Barbara Rose) took a few nice pictures of her GTG in Colorado...Barbie they look great and wow that Rainbow..am looking for that pot of gold :)

Bethers...I see posted a picture of Nan and Tina on the Lu Lu Belle...they sure look happy...but can't say they look WARM and to think it's Summer in Alaska...Hahaha..might check out Bethies..Blog...(boy that was a mouthful)

Snowball ( Sheila) has a hot water problem ..any of you get a chance and maybe some of you might come up with a few answers... I know my issue with it was mainly calcium deposits...I later on when hooked up to any water I put on filters..

Vickie.... posted picture on FB of a new born baby...aaaaah he's a bundle..8lbs looks like a darling butter ball..gorgeous..Congrads on the new arrival ..it's her niece's baby...

Echo still has that issue with the power to her new TT and on going issue with the AC but I saw where Mitch and Bethers
were giving Echo some good advice on what to do with what ever money LOL...

Lori and Ernie hit the open road today towards Wyoming..the Windy Area..LOL gawd it sure does get windy too..but it is wide open spaces...can't wait to see those pictures too Lori..

Some good tips through out the forum and if you can set a spell and read them you'll be smilin too...

Hey that tip on the screens over the drain.. I use that in house too..yep, it sure does catch those nasty stuff and keeps the odors down a bit..but I always put that blue stuff in my tanks..I know others say..."Oh that's not good for the environment.." but ya know a STINKY tank is not good for my breathing either...HA !

Ok, I need to get a movin as Critters are looking like they haven't ate..you know that stare ya get...Hope all of you have a fantastic day...and if you see me flying by and glowing..please don't swat me hahaha

Been up since 4am Mountain Time....so the coffee has kicked in and the fresh air from walking Spinner has me going.....now, to get into gear and get things ready to hit the road.... ;) (I'll get a nap while Ernie drives.... ) You know I can deal with the wind, but when will this 90F plus temps. stop??? Oh, well....I will survive... ;)

Zee, you'll do fine with the "glow in the dark" stuff....at least it will be nice and cool there...They sure do keep it cold....

Okay, got to go get dressed and start buckling down the hatches....will check in when we get there and all set up in my sister's yard...

Have a good day, all...

Morning BarbZ and all who follow,

Great to see you starting the Morning Coffee, Barb. Gives me my morning laugh. From the sounds of your day, you won't need anightlight when you use the "facilities" tonight as you will "glow in the dark" and should light up your own way

Dang, had a post all made up and lost it. So trying again. Had sausage and chees omelet from breakfast way back around 6 a.m. here. Too bad you all missed it. But I still have some fruit here if anybody is interested.

Killing a little time here before I have to get ready for work. Yep, there's that nasty work W-O-R-K again. Only 8 more weeks and i will be done at the park for the season. Then will head for my annual vacation to Michigan's U.P.. Can't wait for that.

Gosh, everybody seems to be having so much fun getting ready to hit the road, already on the road or just coming home. Makes me want to get out there. And I'm just dong the nundane things in life, like work, clean house, shppping, laundry etc. As I saudm this was the year to do some things around the S7B here and that I have been doing of late, now that our weather is more normal for this time of year. Painting the deck is on the agenda for my days of next week as mom nature looks like she is going to give me the perfect weather to do it. That's the last big major project. I do have some painting to do here and there around the house and yard, but nothing that's going to take much time to do. Worked on landscaping yesterday and still have some piles of debris to clean up, but will get to it after work one day.

But I've been taking time to enjoy day trips too and have a one afternoon cruise booked through the Les Cheneaux Islands off Michigan's eastern U.P. shoreline coming up in about three weeks. Should be fun cruising through the islands and seeing some of the lighthouses in the area as well. Might go take a shipwreck tour out in Lake Huron one day too.

Have been reading some of the introductions from all the new ladies who have joined. Such a great bunch with lots of hopes and dreams ahead. Want to welcome all of you to the forum. Going to enjoy reading of your adventures etc.

Snowball, hope you get that hot water tank issue resolved. Always somebody on here who knows some way to resolve any issue or at least offer some advice.

Prayers out to Marslett on the tragic loss in her family.

Lori and Ernie, have a great time in WY. Enjoying reading about your trip so far as well as the AK group and all the others who are on the road. Lots of hopes and dreams out there right now, some getting ready to happen and others like me, on the sidelines at the moment, but still planning. Like Ava, I"m going to start plotting a trip west this coming winter even though it won't be in the works till 2014, but gives me time to plan, get info, ask questions etc. and most of all, look for a rig to do it in.

Time to be off here. Anybody remember to say RABBITS this morning? Have a wonderful day all of you and safe travels to those on the road.

RABBITS!

I did remember to shout RABBITS when I first woke up, scaring Molly and Dinah out of their deep sleeps! Perhaps it will mean good luck for us all this month!

Zee, I will be thinking of your glowing today, and will be anxious to find out what all that glow will show that you need to do to stay healthy for many years to come. Does that stuff hurt when they inject it?

So sorry to hear you are still so hot, Lori. It's 67 up here in the mountains today, and overcast with a possibility of showers. We need some rain, and I mowed part of the lawn last evening in preparation. I may mow some more of it today if it stays dry enough and cool enough.

Echo, I know where you can cut down on some harmful, exhorbitant spending and have enough money to buy a surge protector for your electric hookup before you know it, and so do you. :) It would be a good thing in more than one way, as your lungs would thank you. This is something that is within your power to accomplish, but will be not easy. You are a fighter.

Here's hoping you all have a good day wherever you may be or whatever you are doing.

Happy travels!

Good morning & Happy August 1 st. Where did the year go? I'm hiking down to the cabin that has coffee. Last morning to kayak. Had a huge lobster dinner with steamed muscles & clams for our last night up here. We are leaving the lake area today. Don't wanna go. I have seen so many RVs up here and I want to stowaway.

We head back to Portland today and fly to Iowa early tomorrow morning. Everyone stay safe and have a good day.

Glow little Glow Worm, glimmer, glimmer...couldn't help myself after reading Zees post. Most likely she is in the process of becoming a Glow Worm now.
I know the songs from the 40's better than any. Most likely my mother sang them to me before my birth and I certainly remember them for many years afterward.
I guess I missed the post about Marslet's father. Very sorry to hear this.
Soos, where does this 'Rabbits' come from..that's new to me. Must have missed that story or cartoon.
Have a great day all...I'm off to tackle room # 2. Sell goes on one side, keep goes on the other, garbage in the middle. I finally got a system and it regenerated me.

Soos, I am interested in the Rabbit story too.

BarbZ, be sure and FaceTalk when you get back and let me know how it went. I am going to have to watch the time so you take your meds when you are supposed to. Not an hour later!

Lori, enjoy your nap while the Sultan is driving today. Don't forget to post pics. I really want to get to the places you guys have been to on your Southwest Adventure this year.

Red, I am soooo jealous. I'll have to tell you the story about how I embarrassed my Mom with steamed clams someday. It is still a big family joke.

Nancy, you are inspiring me. I did not get much done in packing yesterday. Paul had sold his car to our brother, John and his wife Gwyn. I had to follow him to Irving to deliver the car to her. Road construction going on everywhere. Decided to take Toll road back. Gwyn said she had come out here that way last and did not have to deal with the road construction. It was great. Sailed right on back. By the time we got back and I got my chores done, it was already late afternoon. I will be back to working my ToDo list today! I had told Gwyn about this site and she told me yesterday she reads the posts occasionally. I'll have to get her to chime in too. She said she and John are talking about renting RV's until they know what they want.

Well, time for me to get another cup of coffee and kick start my day. Hope everyone has a wonderful day and if you are traveling, stay safe.

Sue - missed seeing your posts the last few days. And now I want to take that UP cruise - you said the magic word - lighthouses :D :D :D

I'm applying for a new position in the company in the finance group - gotta put that new degree to use, y'know - and if I do, I will have to rethink my plans around family reunion next year as I will have to hot-foot it home for month-end closing... maybe come to MI early and visit the UP, but that would be like the third week of June. This year I know that would not be a problem with the temps they had but who knows what next year will bring. Well, I'm getting ahead of myself since I haven't gotten the job yet.

Speaking of, I guess I need to get back to work.

I remember that song too, used to play it on the saxophone! Soos will explain about the rabbitts, won't you? Amazing the things I didnt know before I met you all. Slept late today. Havent watched the news or had coffee. Don't have a thing planned, all of you packing are wearing me out. Thats another reason I don't want to do that! Have a good FUN and SAFE day. Wendy

Good Morning everyone... wow this is a busy coffee room today! Barbz what kind of pillow did you get... hmmm maybe I need one... oh yes Anna that test also reminded me of the song Glow Worm too... Soos it was 62 this morning... I leave the door and windows open so it was a tad bit cool inside so I put a blanket over my legs and enjoyed the morning sounds... Red enjoy the kayaking this morning... Dawn it sounds like you accomplished a huge task yesterday getting your brothers car delivered... put that on your list and check it off!!! slow and steady you go...
The sun is coming up and will soon dry the dew off the grass... Shadow has run his legs off this morning and then came back in... he sure loves being able to go without his lead on... he loves to look for the many rabbits that are always in the yard... now if he ever caught one look out!!
I got laundry done yesterday and watched a bit of TV inside my girlfriends house... I can hardly believe that they do not lock their doors ever... well only when they are gone on vacation...
Today I will make those wonderful pot pies that Irmi makes... and go to the pontoon boat and read... maybe vacuum Bright Hope... what a life...
I trust Barbee is doing good and that her travels will be easier now that she feels rested... take care of baby kitty and be on the road!! Wow cannot believe you will start your new job on Monday!
Have a great day everyone...
Kathleen

Well good morning Maggie and Wendy... you two posted while I was writing...

I've been humming Glow Worm all morning! My neighbor when I was a kid played and sang all the songs from the forties and I learned the words to many of them. Does anyone else remember, Zippity Do Da, Four Leaf Clover, Now Is The Hour or I'll be Seeing You? I so wanted to learn to play the piano by ear like she did, but my mother played really well and had taken lessons for years. So, lessons we got and after about a year the music teacher told her she was wasting her $$ on me.

Soos I agree with your suggestion. Echo, you can do it!!! I worry about you not taking care of yourself. Also didn't you and Kelly get iPhones, if so, you don't need your computer to post those pictures we're all looking forward to of your new home. :P

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

Dang! Kinda seems like most everybody it up and at 'em this morning! Or at least UP! :D I'm up too and working at getting at 'em. Drinking a cup of coffee and the little coffee maker just got done with brewing another pot so I should be well tanked up in a bit. Took Shade out to do her morning business and the temps are climbing and the humidity is rising. UGH! Kelly spent her first night in the in the new trailer last night. Haven't talked to her yet this morning so I don't how she made out. But she is setting up house keeping for us. Got what groceries we had moved up there, almost all the dishes and darn near all the pots and pans too. She took up rags, cleaning stuff, clorox wipes and the vacuum cleaner too. Trailer was pretty much cleaned up good but Kelly just has to get in there an tweak it a little. LOL Today will be more of the same as yesterday. Sorting, tossing and moving. Threw out a whole bunch of old 'first aide' stuff and other junk yesterday. It's gonna be interesting to see what else we throw out today. The first thing I'm getting when one of us gets paid is a little storage room. All we both want in the new trailer is our immediate needs. Then we can work on the other stuff. Everything we have can and does fit in this trailer and in the truck but it's crowded and cluttered. We did really good in AZ at getting rid of stuff but I really want to cut down again on our stuff. Less stuff is better!

OK, talking to Kelly via chat. Says bed was comfy and that she had a good night but that it took her a little to get use to it. She's been sleeping on the couch and air mattress to long I guess! Gonna go read and see what ya'll have been up to. Have a great day and remember to do it all safely!

Marslett, for sure have you and family in my prayers.

Love to all

oh my goodness, what a busy morning in the coffee room
Good morning to all
been to work and back already, got my route picked, different kids, different schools except for my mid day is the same and I got my
bus back. Course there weren't any doubts but ya never know when someone from above you on seniority just might grab your bus.
But out of 187, I am #11 I felt pretty safe. Sorry I didn't get my same kids though, special ed dept shuffles the routes all around. Don't
know why they do that, the kids didn't move or anything but I guess its her job security to flip things around.
So for today, my plans are to sit down and study my route and check the maps to locate the houses. Tomorrow I'll run it for practice.
For now, I'm going for more coffee, Ya'll have a great day.

It finally quit raining for a few days. Guess we can start whining about it being dry in a couple of days. ;) The storms that could become future hurricanes are rolling off the African coast. The weather guessers are watching 2 areas now. Gives us 2 weeks to worry about what they might do. Have to start thinking about what needs to be evacuated and where to go. I got part of the carport cleaned off and things put away yesterday. It's so hot I am dripping with sweat without doing much. I feel for Echo, trying to move in this heat. It's amazing what we can pack in one of these RV's.

I need to go to town but can sure put that off a long time. The cats are about out of food. They will light a fire under me if they don't have food. Better get moving because it's not going to get cooler until dark.
