Star-shaped snow crystals formed last night! I really didn't notice their shapes until I looked at the photos closely!!

One more shot of snow crystals.

Diamond-like crystals floating in the air today.

The last sunset of Fall, 2008! Took this just a few minutes ago. Tomorrow morning Winter arrives!
It's only 5 above zero out there right now...a very cold end to fall!!

Very very pretty - especially when in photos. Love to look at snow when it is undisturbed. hope you have a good book and a big fire going.

Beautiful, beautiful. Imagine what winter will bring! The star-shaped crystals are so cool. I love looking for and noticing the beauty in tiny things and places.

I love snow like that. It looks like a kajillion diamonds laying in the sun. Or like someone went nuts with the old fashioned Ivory Snow soap powder! LOL

So glad you got snow too. I thought when I read that Cedar was getting her's that she might be stealing yours. Glad you got some too. I wish it would snow down here for Christmas. ~sigh~

You'll have to go out and make me a mini snowman. ;)

I was just talking tonight about how much Moxie loved the snow - and how the first snow every winter, she would convince me to come outside and play with her. I really did love the first snow. However, I loved being warm even more. So, keep posting those wonderful pictures - that make me a little jealous that I'm not there - then I think about it :)
