Friday Again ??????

Good morning !!! I have no idea where this week went, it sure flew by and left me setting Good news this week, another test down and it turned out good. So things are on there way to getting better here. I'm sure ready for it Won't be through everything and in the clear until last part of August, but as fast as time goes by on me, thats tomorrow, isn't it?

Last couple of days I have been clearing dirty clothes, linens etc. out of the RV, got everything all washed up. Now to get in and get things out, I found I don't want or need in there and get it thoroughly cleaned up for my trip to Fl. and maybe even a trip before then. I go in there and this overwhelming feeling of really being at home comes over me and I know I can't stay here long.

So much going on with everyone , Echo is in Texas, safely!!!!! Now praying for safe trip back home and that she and Kelly can get moved into their new home without to much trouble. Dawn , has a really busy two weeks ahead of her, and she is excited as we all are for her. I'm really looking forward to meeting her one day soon.

Sorry, but not to sure whats happening with others, think there were some birthdays I missed, Happy Birthday Ladies, what ever your dreaming for, hope it is in your future really soon.

Good morning Carol and everyone!

Carol, I'm so glad you're getting your tests done and am happy you're getting good results. Maybe you'll be able to get a trip in before heading to Florida.

Dawn will be seeing Echo off soon to her home in TN, pulling her new to her trailer to its new location. The ladies in Alaska are still enjoying their journeys and others here are on the road or getting ready to be on the road.

We got back yesterday from a 4 day get away for Steve's birthday, but yardwork was calling, so we'll start on that today. Delmarva Power and Light, our local utility company, has a right of way that goes through our yard, and after being here for 30 years, have decided they want to cut down most of the trees in our yard within 75 feet of either side of their right of way. Someone is supposed to stop by either this afternoon or Monday to tell us which trees we will be able to keep. But this too shall pass. It's going to be another warm one today, so those suffering with the heat, please stay cool and hydrated.

I'm up early, hard to sleep in this morning as my thoughts go into all the things I need to do on a day off. Gonna tear my room apart
and clean all the little nooks and crannies today and mop the tile. Don't have to go back into the school district until next wednesday
for a couple hours. I also have extra laundry to do as one of the dogs got sick on the bed and I had to dig out my spare bedding. The
laundry hamper is full.
Safe travels to Echo has she takes her new home to TN and safe travels to Barbie as she makes her way back home too.
Coffee is good this morning

Good Morning CArol, Irmi, Ava and all the others to follow... Oh Irmi it is always sad when trees have to be cut down... hope it does not leave your yard empty! CArol such good news on your tests! Ava work is never done... sometimes I wish I was back driving bus but I would never get the pay I was getting and it is hard to look at the lower pay...
I am pulling out today... heading for Otsego, Mi... yesterday got the tanks dumped, lp gas and regular gas... today my daughter said she was going to clean Bright Hope... that will be a boost for me...
My back is messed up again... will go back and get injections when I get home...
Today should be very nice only low 80s... we got the much needed rain and things are greening up a tad bit... the birds are singing their hearts out... happy for the moisture...

GOOD MORNING TO ALL!

Rain has stopped for now, and we are getting packed up to head back to my abode in the mountains from this flat farm country. Yesterday's rain was such a welcome happening for all. Joe said it rained back at my house, too, so that is good, although it will mean it's mowing time when I get back there.

Carol, that is great news from your doc! I am assuming he was correct about the swelling being caused by some med you were taking? I am curious to know what it was, if that is true. I think I mentioned that Norvasc did that to me a few years ago, and scared the pooty out of me! I think Norvasc is for my high blood pressure, and I am now on something else.

Ava has a day "off" to work around the house!

Kath, sorry to hear about your back again----can't be any fun. What causes it to act up like that? Hope your ride home won't be awful for you with that pain.

Irmi, what a shame to have to cut shade trees---that would be devastating. I sure hope you get to keep some choice ones. Happy Late Birthday to Steve, too!

Off I go to get packed and haul stuff down the hill to the truck. Will try to make contact later when I get back home.

It RAINED !!!!! maybe a bit over 1/2 inch but oh, it was wonderful and the temps dropped. I called a friend and we went out for coffee, ah the little things that make life good.
I had the best chocolate this morning. My neighbor made it and I have to get the recipe. I don't usually care for dark chocolate but this was terrific. She made it our of raw cacoa butter and raw cocoa (she used the Live Superfoods brand) & sweetened with agave plus a bit of vanilla. You need to keep it frozen and that seemed to make it taste even better. It was probably the sweet taste I liked as dark chocolate tastes bitter to me.
It is supposed to get quite warm again but then be cooler for a couple of days. I think every thing looks greener already but maybe it's because layers of dust was washed away.
I've been looking for updates on Dawn and Echo but after the picture of the tires coming off haven't seen anything. Is Echo headed back today?
Carol so glad you got good news from the doctor! I hope you can be on the road soon even if a short trip.

Have today off because I work 4/10 days during the summer (saves lots of electricity money by shutting down on Fridays during the summer). I've been stretching the morning out by sleeping late and watching DVDs. Went to the bank, stopped at the library, and picked up coffee at Sip n' Dip on the way home. Plan on goofing off all day.

Next Friday is my last 4/10 week and we're meeting up with our Good Sams chapter. The organizer sent out a notice that the Friday potluck is cold food only due to the summer heat. Help! Need suggestions for what I can take other than 7-layer salad, potato salad or cold fried chicken.

CArol, so glad your tests are turning out to be good!

Kathleen, be sure and take care of your back. That can be so painful.

This morning did not turn out as planned because it took so many more hours to get the tires back on Echo's TT yesterday. All of our land is on a slope in some way. Mark had just put the first tire on Echo's TT when it moved forward a little bit, down the slope it was on, and fell off all the jacks. Poor Mark, it took a while to get it stabilized again, get the jacks back under it and the tires back on. We left here when that was finished to go get 2 new scissor jacks and 30 amp plug for the TT. We got to Camping World just after it closed at 7. Drove back from Ft. Worth and then to Walmart here to get her a new Deep Cycling Battery since the one on the TT had a dead cell. We stopped and got burgers to eat for supper. It was well after 9 last night when we got home. That killed Echo's plan to be on the road by 5:30 this morning since we had to go to Camping World still. That's a 30 minute plus drive each way. Finally got everything done and she was on the road just past 1:00 this afternoon. I just talked to her and she was between Ft. Worth and Dallas. All was going OK.

Think I better eat some lunch and then get started cleaning out another of my closets. I will be so glad when this is all finished and I am set up in my first CG in my new life. Ready for a keep my feet up day!
