Soos, is it the place you can't make it to. or did you mean you just have to back out of the organizing? Because there is none to do. As far as Im concerned we're doing the gtg "freestyle" like we did last year. No planning. And the other places and dates were pretty full. Alright, thisiisnt that hard, 26 thru 30 at Hillsborough. make reservations today. Soos, YOU ARE COMING!

My only sugggestion is make it a little longer 26 to so is only three whole days, also 26 is on a Sat, so if need to start reservations on 28 we will still be in the same time frame

I will be in site #31 from January 27th, Sunday, until Feb. 3rd, Sunday, at Hillsborough River State Park.

I look forward to meeting however many of you can get your own reservations and meet me there.

I am now ready and have paid for this reservation, and it is done!

Oops! Was making our reservations at same time. I am in 51C and Paul is in 51B. Made the reservations from the 24th to the 31st, but can always extend later.

So glad there are 4 rigs already. I will book a site later this week as soon as I can figure out the dates. My sister is retiring the end of this month so she may decide to stay the entire week. We have talked about last year's rally since last January . . . the potlucks and sitting around the campfire with everyone is exactly the kind of camping we enjoy most!

And the fun begins! Looking good for January in FL! YIPPEE! I can't wait to see that campground----I've had it on my list to visit for a few years now, but never got there. This will be the year!

Oh I am crying... I will miss all of you this year... love to visit and meet new faces not to mention seeing new rigs... I will be thinking of all of you!

So, just wondering how buggy is it in Fl in Jan? Ticks, mosquitoes ??? or do they go away in winter? I noticed in the reviews there were lots of comments reminding people to bring their bug spray.

I've never had problems with them - and Peaches never saw ticks when we wintered in FL. Not saying they aren't around, but much worse summers up north, at least in my opinion. We did see some mosquitoes at night - campfire sent them away.

Soos, I think you'll like that campground. I loved it. Would join you all in a heartbeat if I'd be out east. Another year. This time I get to live it through your pictures and words.
