Hi to all
I not knew to this post back in 2007 or 2008 I was on a little now and then.
But I went as Sally I think there some jokes still there.

We was on the road 14 years hubby said 15 years. And then I had health issue . Just love this site. We went south and west all winters 6 months a year.
Only thing I would do over is do full time instead of 6 months, no up keep on this end.

Hi Joan - so is that what we should call you? Joan?

What part of Iowa are you in? I lived across the river in WI, might have been neighbors. My sister still lives there. Lots of pretty country around about there. (I also lived in southern MN for a time, and in NE Iowa for about 3 months once :) )

Glad to have you posting with us - hope you continue to do so.

Joan, I was in Ferryville, then Prairie du Chien when on that side of the state - not far at all. My sis now lives in PdC and has a friend in Oelwein, I know. Small world, eh?

Beth. We used spend lots of time in Wisconsin ( wyalusing State park) when the kids was little and camp there. We love that Wisconsin cheese and curd. we go to Gay Mills for apples in the fall that is a fun day. We alway went to the boat in Marquette at least one a week.
But they got one in Waterloo now not so far to go. Dubuque once in a while. (Casino).

PdC is Prairie du Chien :) Right by Wyalusing! And I worked on the boat in Marquette for awhile - you never know we might have run into each other someplace or time.

That is very true. We spent lot of time there at one time. You can't win any thing anymore.
Every thing is tight here in Iowa.
