Good Morning from the Sunny 45th,
Beautiful morning here. Nice cool breeze coming in through the back of the house, no humidity and temps are in mid 60's. Going to be a really nice day. Maybe around 82 or so here. Think the dogs and I are going to take off and hit the road for the day as it's supposed to be a little cooler up north of us here. Perfect day to just bum. Not sure yet if I am heading for the U.P. or staying in L.P. Such decisions I have to make these days
I'll be Echo is already on the road heading to TX for her new home. I wish her god speed, safe travels, no mishaps and most of all, lots of fun meeting Dawn.
Ava, seems funny reading about you starting school pretty soon, when we are over a month away from it here School stuff starting to appear in the stores though. Michigan schools can't start till day after Labor Day by law now. But school sports do.
Just finished up some scrambled eggs and sausage for breakfast. Sorry, but that was the last of the sausage, so my breakfast larder is empty. Got to pass by the store on the way home today. Got watermelon, cantalope, strawberries, blueberries, peaches etc. though, as well as bread for toast though.
Not much going on around here right now. Same old. Been doing some weeding in the yard now that the weather has allowed me to do it without melting. Tomorrow is back to work for another week, still watering the neighbors yard and flowers. His wife is doing well, but it is a long slow process. They are going to start taking her off the vent for longer periods this week. She still has lots of pain and discomfort, but no pain meds. Still struggles to breathe but is getting better, has some panic attacks though. But she is sitting up in a chair, doing some physical therapy, and is engaging and alert according to her daughter. Can't talk though as she still has a trach in her throat. But things are progressing, for which we who know them all all thankful.
I know there are some on this forum who are having medical issues as well. My prayers go out to you too, for complete recovery and getting well again. Know that it shall pass. When I read the bulletins on my neighbors wife, I am grateful that I have my body intact and small little things that do happen are immaterial compared to those who need transplants or whatever.
Judy, glad to hear you are in CA and enjoying it. Seems like we just met at Mackinaw and there you are, all across the U.S. Enjoy the time with you son and family. You sound like a pro with the MH already. Great job.
Time to end this chaper and get going here. The road is beckoning me. Need to have my bowl of strawberries and get ready to hit it. Have a wonderful day all.
