FL GTG 2013!

I am really looking forward to the FL GTG this year, and seeing all the new rigs!

Hillsborough sounds good to me. FYI the Tampa RV Show 2013 is Jan 16-20 http://frvta.org/rv-shows/2013-florida-rv-supershow/ Some folks like to go to look around and this cg will be a good location for that. We probably don't need to go further south as that may keep others from coming. I think Silver River is too far north as we have experienced cold more than not. The FL gtg is aways fun.

The Tampa RV show would be fun to go to if we decide this is where we are all going to stay and the time frame. I looked and found 2 sites side by side for us on Loop 1, I think. Plenty long back in sites.

That park is beautiful! I plan to go down for a week or so to visit my friend in Crystal River whenever you all pick a date for the GTG, so I can come and meet everyone and maybe stay for a day or two there! My birthday is the 17th so that will be a good way to celebrate (and get away from the snow and frigid temps in MN!). Hope lots of you can make it, so I can meet a lot of you!

I really like that sp and that's a great location - I won't be in FL, but if you are interested in that time frame, I'd get it posted and the reservations in while the sites are available!

That's about 1-11/2 hrs from Sarasota, so I should be able to come I might just bring my van to sleep in-depending whether tGM wants to go. We've been there often, although not camping. Good boating, a pool, cafe, hiking and close to Tampa. The RV show is big! As soon as the dates are decided, I'll make a reservation. carold

Somebody check the week of the rv show for sites, if there are a good many, let's make it that one .I cant do it right now, got to go somewhere.

We're flexible, as we plan to be FL by Jan....so we'll go with the majority.....just let us know....

Just checked and the RV show is Jan 16th - 20th. All sites are reserved for the week of the 13th - 19th
Most sites available are week of Jan 27th - Feb 2nd

Yesterday there were quite a few for the week of the 20th, today a lot less.

OK, how about January 26 through January 30 at Hillsborough State Park? There seem to be quite a few spots available. That means arriving on Jan 26 and leaving on January 30.

Course if you want to arrive earlier and stay late, no reason not to do so.

Can I get agreement to those dates from at least half a dozen of you, and we can start to make reservations.
