WOW! That about sums it up for me. We took a shorter version of that flight, but if we go back, I think we'll spring for this one. My son has already figured that his inheritance is a mute point :D carold

I'm drooling. I was so happy with that company and my flight - and would do it again in a heartbeat. So glad to be able to live it through you. Mine was a different one - we did the one to the top and I also sat next to the pilot. But I had the job of dropping the oxygen when we needed it. I did good, everyone got their oxygen and none of us passed out! I just love, love, love your pictures. Will be going back to this post of yours again.

Wow Tina, what an experience. That is definitely going to be on my next trip to AK, whenever that will be. Beautiful and from a different perspective.

Okay, who's heading to AK next?

So glad you are enjoying the opportunities of this summer, you earned it Tina!!! The pictures were amazing but that is the only way I will ever view the sights, especially after Beth's comments about oxygen! Yes, I'm not good at flying but so glad you are and were able to get such amazing pictures. Thank you!!

Tina, I stayed at a lodge in Denali while on a land excursion part of a cruise. I can see now this was only the tip of the iceberg or glacier in this case. This will have to be one of your fondest memories.. great pictures and thanks again.

Wonderful pix Tina - thanks for sharing. Pristine (and desolate areas) for sure.

Tina's flight shouldn't have needed oxygen - doesn't go to the height mine did in a quick amount of time. The pilot didn't need oxygen, but told us to not try going without - he's used to the ascent but we are not. So at the time he told me, oxygen masks went on, and then off on the descent. Just to make sure :)

They have differently rated planes, also - some for the glacier landings (don't have to have the rating the ones that go to the higher elevation do) and the ones that go all the way up to the top and around.

Both tours are absolutely awesome, as Tina's pictures portray. And it was money I'd spend again without any hesitation.

Really neat!!! actually words can't be found to express it...was so neat to view
One year DH and I went to West Yellowstone..and to the IMAX theater got tickets and it was for a double header
one was on Yellowstone and the other was on Alaska being in that theater made you feel like you were one the plane
You will treasure this memory for a very long time
