Chris, I started the thread...you can add the pictures!

We had a wonderful lunch and walked around Old Town Spring for a while! We talked just like we have known each others for years! I just love making new friends!

She has the lectures on her phone, so y'all will have to wait till she posts!

Thanks for the lunch!

Well, I don't think I lectured too much, but I AM a retiree from the University of Hawaii :D LOL. However, the PICTURES were on my phone. I downloaded the Photobucket app to my Droid Evo, so the pix taken with my phone were automatically uploaded to Photobucket. But, when I got home to post them on the fourm the thunder storm caused an outage with my internet service. Almost daly event this week.

As Paulette said, it was like we have known each other for years. Alot in common. Look forward to meeting again in our travels sometime. We went to lunch at the Wunsche Brother's Cafe and Saloon in old town Spring. Both of us commented how it reminded us of the little town Juliette, GA where the Whistle Stop Cafe was in the movie "Fried Green Tomatoes".

One of us ordered "healthy" and the other the house special, chicken fried steak and onion rings.

This was the best HOMEMADE key lime pie ever. It made up in flavor what it lacked in presentation!!

Aloha, y'all

Great mini gtg with what looks like great food! I love key lime pie. And I also like Old Town Spring - long time since I've been there. Love seeing the smiling faces.

I wish I had been home to join you. And I didn't even have a chance to look up Sue's information and hook up with her while I was in MI. I missed out all around.

Now that school is done, I will have lots more free time! I hope you didn't have "too" too much rain last week. I hear it was a frog strangler while I was gone.
