Let's hear from new members!

Come on in and say hello.

Let's hear from new members!

I was looking back over the new members and thought just in case you're logging in why not join in on our discussions. Sometimes it seems we're almost talking to ourselves when we keep hearing from the same people (don't take this wrong, I love to hear from you too). It's always refreshing to get a different take on something so don't be bashful...Okay?..and for those of you shopping for your rig we get our feelings hurt if we don't get to help you :)

Nancy - I usually feel pretty intimidated by all the knowledge I see on these boards. Often I've wanted to jump in, but my erudite comment would be something like, "Yeah, me too." :D Just wait till that first rental and the Northwest GetTogether. No stopping me then! Thanks for the encouragement though. I'll get over any shyness soon enough, I promise.

OK newbies - on this forum there is no question too dumb. We've all been there and the reason why this forum exists is because on another popular forum the men would get nasty if the questions was a beginners. We couldn't take all the testosterone so Beth started this forum for us. We once did I think it was four pages on the subject of dumping. We've got several ladies who drive big Class A rigs so start a thread with your questions about going up and down hills.

Ellen, any knowledge anyone knows on this forum , they have learned here or somewhere and then shared it here. Some of us have been driving Rvs a long time now and still learning new things to help us enjoy our RV more , or we have barely got the hang of it, others are still looking or waiting for retirement time. No one knows everything here, we are all still learning, so don't worry or be shy ok. Sharon might be our most knowledgeable lady, she is mechanically inclined and has helped a lot of us from time to time.

We enjoy so much helping someone with their questions on the RV life. No question is ever considered dumb, and no one will ever laugh at you. We are just as proud and happy as the person after all their searching finds the RV that suits them and their pocket. So join in ladies we are all missing out on a lot with you staying silent and shy out there.

Nancy asking all the Newbies to join in the topics and encouraging questions, is to everyone's benefit, Newbies especially as you have joined a wonderful group of friends here. WE are not only here for RV conversation, but a very caring bunch if you are in need of a place to vent or to know someone is always there for you. We are scattered all over the country and one of the best things you can do for yourself , besides joining this forum :D is to attend one of the GTGs, which you will find their dates and locations under the GTG thread.

So glad to have each and everyone of you, PLEASE join us in our conversations here,we love new thoughts and ideas.

CArol :)
