This sounds like a lot of fun. I'm new to the RV world, still in the planning stages, and meeting up with y'all would be most educational too. think I want to rent a Class B/C unit and drive down there, to see how I like being in one. Would I reserve a trailer site or an RV site? There appear to be plenty of both RV and trailer sites available. Any recommendations on which site # to get? The trip is still tentative at this point, but I'm hoping I can join you!

Cari, I've found that most parks that ask if you have an rv or trailer, they consider motorhomes as rv's & travel
trailers, toyhaulers, fifthwheels, etc. as trailers. I know because I argued once with a AR state park that a trailer
was still an rv! :roll:

It'd be great if you could join us. Any of the sites in the same Loop with us would work for you.

Only twice have I been someplace that I understood the trailer vs rv spots. One place had some rv spaces meant to pull in forward - a trailer (5th, etc) couldn't do it. Another had spaces meant for rv's only - as when an rv backed in, they had a view of the ocean through the front windows. Otherwise, I seem to find places that use the phrases to mean the same thing - or have both and I can't figure out why at all.

I won't have an RV yet, but plan to drive over for a day or two so I can meet everyone. I think there are motels close by. Or maybe I'll pitch a tent!?

If I don't bring the dogs, you are welcome to bunk with me. Granted it gets really cozy in my trailer... that's why I say if I don't bring the dogs.
