Judy, I grew up not far from Baker Park and have been there many times. It is really beautiful and has lots of really nice trails to walk/bike. The lake there (Lake Independence, how appropriate for the 4th of July!) is very nice too!

I stayed home last night. Was busy getting caught up on all the Alaska blogs. Still have a few to go thru yet.

Yesterday morning, my roommate told me that she and her daughter decided to have a double wedding on August 24th. By last night, the daughter decided not to get married for awhile... the saga continues... :roll:

Back to work here soon for another 9+ hour day!

...just found out tonight that now my roommate's wedding is off again, as well... :roll:
