Let's start our day with a good morning here.

SATURDAY MORNING

GOOD MORNING ALL!

Image

Orion playing in Grammasoo's trailer yesterday morning! (Notice those two new bottom front teeth!)

No rain for us yet today, and my lawn could use some. I see some gathering clouds, however, so when the dew evaporates, I will mow today too.

The kids are going to a wedding today, and Orion will go to be shown off for a while. Then Mandy will drive him back here for Grammasoo to care for him during the evening celebrations. Should be a fun night!

My new phone set seems to work very nicely, and has just what I wanted on it----3 extra handsets, one of which is here in the trailer, quite a long way from the base but it still works if I pick it up and go out the door toward the house, an intercom between all the phones, and a backup in case of a power outage. It is a Panasonic as was the one I just sent back, but a different model. After discovering my return package would not fit into the UPS drop box in Saranac Lake, I was livid and thinking I might just stomp on it and make it fit! However, I decided to just head back home and get this new set up and running. ON my way back here, I spotted a UPS truck turning into a business ahead of me and I followed him! He took my package for me! YIPPEE! Made my day!

Off I go to try to get a mower started. Have a fun day, y'all!

Happy travels!

good morning ladies,
two little teeth on Orion, my god, he's growing too fast, seems like yesterday he was just born. Why is it we want them to grow up but
then we don't  :D
Had to get a new battery in my car. Don't know where time goes anymore, seems like yesterday I just bought one, but alas, it was 4 years
ago and in Arizona, battery life is pretty much 2 years so I got a good run out of the last one. Tires don't last long here either. The hot
pavement just melts them down to nothing. See alot of blowouts on the freeways here.
So yesterday I go pick up my mail and there's a $662 check from my health insurance and that I'm suppose to use it to pay some doctor
that was not on my network. Huh???? Apparently they billed the insurance and my portion is 100 something still owed after this. I don't
understand why they send it to me and not to this doctor. Looking over the accompanying info, the doctor listed is not mine. Figure it
must have been one of the specialists that saw me at the ER. So I really don't get it and the simple fact that I'm sitting here with less than
$100 in my bank account and I'm sitting on a $600 check, just pisses me off cause I just want to cash it. So far, the only thing I've been
billed for was the ambulance and I paid that with my health savings account, which is drained now until July 1 when it gets another
1500 slapped into it from benefits. I'm thinking here........would it be so wrong to pay the 600 out of the hsa after 7/1 and just throw
the 600 in my account. After all, the check IS made out to me. I've never had this occur before and just wondering if I could theoretically
put this in that catagory of robbing peter to pay paul, which in my mind is ok. Its just one of those things we have to do. This whole
thing with the $600 check gave me a migraine last night. I hate this kind of stress.
Ok, time to strip the bed and get the washer goin.
Ya'll have a great day and be safe.

Good morning all. HOt here today. GD is staying with me tonight, so will spend most of the day in the pool when she gets here. Times like this I am glad to have it! Soos, little Orion is so cute. What fun you'll have showing him the world! Ava, hold on to the check for awhile. Often the dors write off part of the bill if ins isn;t paying or you may never get a bill at all! In any event, Im sure waiting until you get your HSA money would be no problem anyway, Its only a couple weekds away. You may have some "found" money! Everyone have a safe and fun and COOL day, but that may apply only to those in Alaska! Wendy

Soos - He is sooooo cute!

Ava - My HMO sends check to me instead of doctor if he is out of network. Apparently they do not deal directly with anyone not part of their system.

Envy you that pool today Wendy. We didn't quite hit the 100 degree mark but very close and looks like it will be near 100 all this coming week.

Magic is in the shop; mostly for some warranty work but I am having Maxx air vent covers added over bed and in bathroom and a few LED lights. I must be getting a little more comfortable with driving her as no dry mouth or wet palms this time. Of course only went across town but was dreading the traffic. Traffic turned out to be very light. Hope it will be same on Monday when I pick her up.

Soos is stalking UPS guys.  Orion is so cute. You better put your track shoes on when he starts walking.

Sarah, the vent covers are a good idea. Then you can leave them open if it rains and not worry so much about them.

Ava, I would wait until you get a bill from the doctor or group so you will know who to pay. I think I would put the check in my account and then give them my check when I got a bill. If you just sign the check and turn it over to them and they don't apply it to the right account you would have to go to the insurance company for a copy of the check to prove you had paid.

I think I have everything for my trip to Florida tomorrow. Of course I forgot the bulbs for the bathroom light yesterday and had to go back to town. There is a tropical storm in the gulf and they can't say which way it is going. The 6:00 news is leaning more toward Texas. South Louisiana is in the cone of uncertainty right now. Just hope it doesn't turn into a hurricane.

Soos, loved your picture of Orion. He is adorable! I know you had fun with him today.

Martha, be careful on your trip to Florida if the storm turns that way.

Darla and Mark came this morning and emptied the livingroom of all the boxes I had in there. Gave Mark Chuck's rifles and other guns in the gun safe along with the gun rack still on the wall in my craft room. They are starting to pick up furniture too along with the boxes. I think it's going to actually be a relief to have the furniture gone. Told Darla to take the livingroom furniture and I could pull the outside chairs out of storage in the 5'er. She said they were not going to take my recliner until last. LOL. It wouldn't hurt me to not have my recliner. It's too comfortable sometimes. Don't want to get up and work on my chores and packing

Everyone have a great night and stay safe.

Thanks, Nana - I hadn't seen a weather forecast since this morning - so I need to get ready for a storm with everything else going on? Oh joy!
