Mitch, you have been on my mind since I read on your post that you were homesick. So sorry you have decided to turn back, but happy you will take your time and see things. I know I couldn't keep up with those ladies and their hikes. LOL I would just have to volunteer to be the lookout at the campground circles and let them go and explore. I know you have seen some beautiful countryside and hope you enjoy your visit with Beth. Please post your blog site so I can find it, don't know why I didn't bookmark it when I had the chance, but guess hind site is 20 20.
I know about missing someone who traveled with you everywhere you went. My mom was my taveling companion and when I lost her, things were tough to start with, just keep on going. I know you will probably think I am crazy, but it helped me to start talking to Mom as if she was still there camping with me. You will always carry George with you wherever you go. He is firmly embedded in your heart.
Hopefully you aren't thinking about giving up camping. I loved meeting you in Arkansas, even though you wore me out just watching you.
And am looking forward to meeting you again in the future.
My prayers and thoughts are with you as you continue on with your journey.
