Let's start our day with a good morning here.

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

Yep it's Monday and for me I can say TGIF as it's kinda my Friday. I have Tues and Weds off and I am so ready for my days off. Have to be into work today by 1 and I work until close. If nothing else I know that I will come home tonight with soaking wet feet. My poor work shoes are falling apart already! ~sigh~ Sure can't run out and buy another pair right now. A couple of people at work have suggested Gorilla Glue for them. Doing dishes tonight.

Went to bed and set my alarm to let me sleep a full 8hrs and still didn't want to wake up this morning. I think I need to find a miracle mega vitamin to take. I also need to get into the clinic that they have for employees as I am getting low on one of my BP pills. Have been missing one for a while and haven't gotten a new script for it, so when I do go they will need to write me up 2 scripts. I take 3 of the things and don't dare go with only taking just one.

Coffee here is fine but no sweets or any other goodies for that fact so you will have to supply your own. If ya bring a goodie to snake on? Can ya bring an extra for me??? ;) Hope everyone has a great day, has fun, does something interesting and stays safe too!!!

Love to all

Echo, glad you are off for a couple days starting tomorrow. I've got some Krispy Kreme donuts I can contribute to the campfire.

Going to have to go get a new printer/copier/scanner today. I have been trying to get some photos scanned into the computer and cannot do it. The drivers for scanning are not working. Tried reloading all the drivers but still not working. Will be looking for smaller and less expensive one. Have had a lot of problems with this printer ever since I bought it. Canon even sent me a replacement unit because of all the things that would not work on the original model I bought. Will be working on packing and discarding again today, of course.

Everyone have a fabulous day today.

good morning ladies
nothing new in my part of the world, just been doing all the purging and extra clean and I notice its making a big difference. Things are
looking really good in here. Except the tile, it needs a good scrubbing so perhaps I'll do that today. The entire week is forecast for
excessive heat warnings, time to stay indoors under the cooler. The new belt got put on yesterday and a few days before that a new
pump but I think its the pump that is causing the cooler not to work properly. Told son I think he got a defective pump cause it keeps
stopping and then it suddenly blows hot air. But of course no one wants to listen to mom. Oh well.
Time for more coffee and then I'm jumpin in the tub.
Ya'll have a great day and be safe.

Good morning! Slept a little late this morning, need to start going to bed earlier. We didn't get home from the BBQ/Potluck till after 10 p.m. Had a lot of fun visiting with guests. And of course the food was great - dessert was strawberry rhubarb pie ~ yum yum.

Today on my list is to make my list to start purging/cleaning our rig from top to bottom. I am feeling like it is just too cluttered. Going to take before and after pictures. Joined FreeCycle here in Branson so will be listing stuff on that.

Hope y'all have a great day! Stay cool if you can. It is supposed to be hot here all week with temps in the mid 90's. Have the ac on in the rig and in the office already :P

Sometime last night it started storming. It sounded like an air plane going over when it started. My DH said we got 3 inches and it's still lightly raining. Wish we could send some of this to the states that are having the fires.

Everyone's cleaning got me in the mood to clean my office. Every time I start something like that the cats are in the middle of it. They know where to lay that will be the most in the way.

Dawn, I hate to hear that you didn't have good luck with your Canon Printer. That is the last one I bought. I picked one that had cheaper ink than the HP I had but it's not that much cheaper. I don't like that I didn't get a manual with it. Sometimes when I would try to print something it would automatically go to the fax option. I finally got it to stop doing that. I haven't tried to scan anything yet. That will be another headache I'm sure.

Wish we had some of that rain Martha, there are groups praying for rain here. The crops are really in danger of being ruined if we don't get some really soon and the forecast doesn't look good.

My DH had a Canon printer and it never did work right we finally pitched it. I bought a HP and had better luck except it doesn't always load the paper. It is wireless so we just connect all computers to it.
Printers used to be so easy and fast, guess they are like everything else, just not made to last the way they used to be.

Looks like a hot week ahead but it's fairly nice this AM so guess I'd better get in gear for yoga class. I need to get out of the house for awhile before the heat/humidity keeps me inside.

Got up, let Tyler out, went to kitchen sink to get water for coffee and saw Tyler running around in circles jumping up at the bird feeder. He usually goes on point at any birds that did not fly away when he comes out. This was truly unusual behavior. Then I looked at the bird feeder closer.

Image

This is a bird feeder specially designed to keep the squirrels and large birds out so the small birds can have peace and get some food too!!

Either I left the top off or the soon to be squab had some help from a friendly squirrel (Rocky and Bullwinkel?? Sorry, that was a moose...too much Alaska on my mind from all the wonderful pix). Don't know how long the pigeon had been there. Probably all night. Was not moving. What is grey? A melted pigeon. Well, I am not cooking squab tonight. The poor thing survived my pulling him out, minus most of his tail feathers, and flew to the top of the tree to lick his wounds, sorry feathers.
