How's progress transitioning sistahs?

Postby Travelinana » Sun Jun 17, 2012 10:20 am

I don't feel well in the mornings and can't get to my tasks before the heat but it cools down a little late in the day so I have been working outside until almost dark. I got all my hollys cut down yesterday. My son will come help me pull them out with the truck or tractor. I will plant something in their place but not sure what yet, maybe just annuals. That might be more aesthetic for showing the house. I decided to go ahead and put it in the paper and put the sign out with the printouts in the little tube. Yesterday I also moved the mh and tractor facing the street with for sale signs. I had a couple drive by and then call me wanting to see the house. I was so dirty from working but they only had a little time. I don't think they will buy. Their story is they sold their home on the other side of the lake thinking they would fulltime RV. That lasted 6 weeks. They would be interested in the furnishings too. When leaving the husband wanted to look at my mh too. They are selling their 5th wheel and want a small mh. I am a pretty good judge of people and I think the house doesn't have enough upgrades to suit her. She wants hardwood floors (mine are laminate) and the newer style countertops. No doubt she would also want stainless steel appliances. I think he liked it, no doubt they both liked the price as the furnishings include some pricey items like my Hyla vacuum and Liberty safe. My game plan is not to paint or redo the deck yet. I am hoping someone will like the idea of the tractor (to landscape the other half of property or sell for needed cash). If my tractor sells and I feel I have serious potential buyers at my asking price, to close the deal I will then offer the cash from it so they can decide what they want to spend it on. It will appraise for this and a young family would no doubt like this offer. Oh to make my post really long, I bought the Jayco White Hawk. They came off the asking price $8000 and will install the equalizing hitch, extending mirrors, and back up camera for this price. I'm excited. Now have to learn to pull it
