Good morning, its Saturday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Good morning, its Saturday

Postby avalen » Sat Jun 16, 2012 9:29 am

Good morning ladies
well Saturday is here and I'm all caught up on chores and all. Actually I'm ahead and anything
I do today is extra. Thinking of going over to daughters this afternoon and take apart the
daybed she gave me. She's cleaning out her condo for the move and the daybed, which is
actually a trundle bed is not making the move. I don't need it in my room as I love my air
mattress but everytime the grandsons come over they sleep on that cold tile floor on a
bedroll. Son has been cleaning out his tools and stuff in the diningroom to make room for
the bed. The diningroom has never been used as a diningroom, its more of an extension
of the livingroom.
Yesterday he peeked his head in here and asked me if I could make room for his other
flatscreen tv so it wouldn't get broke, (it was one of the items being stored in the
diningroom) Don't really care for these big screen tvs, and even though its hooked up
to cable, it doesn't have as many channels showing as my old fashioned analog tv with
the 13 in screen. When I get my new one for the rv its only going to be a 22". Thats
plenty big for me, I just don't like to have to scan back and forth to see the whole
picture. Does that make sense? makes sense to me.
Coffee is ready and theres toast. Help yourself.
Enjoy your day and be safe.

Good morning Ava and all who follow. I agree, I don't like the really big screen TV's either. The set we watch the most is only about 5' from our couch and at 22" I think it is just right.

It's really hot and humid and looks like it will be this way for awhile. :( Guess I better decide to pick another organizing project.Someone made the suggestion to get all of your passwords written down on something other than random sticky notes so someone else could find them, maybe I'll tackle that.

A friend and I have been doing a research project over the last few weeks to determine which place in town has the best Guinness on tap. Last night we found the best yet but we still have a few more places that we need to visit before we can make our final report.

Good morning. Had a crazy morning - woke up at 6:07 and thought I will just doze till 7:00 and then get up. But alas, I fell back to sleep, woke myself up laughing out loud from a crazy dream and it was 8:37! I am supposed to open the office at 8:30. Thank goodness hubby was awake and left me sleeping and went to work. He is such a great hubby!!!

My dream was I was sitting at Cracker Barrel having coffee with my bestie, Dee and I was telling her I really liked her haircut - it is layered, she had bangs and was to the top of her shoulders. She told me it was her Cracker Barrel haircut...she just went into the bathroom and cut her bangs!!   That struck me so funny and I really did wake myself up laughing. Need to send her an email about our coffee time at Cracker Barrel - she has never been to one and I have only been twice in my life :P

Today is a short day for me at work today so am going to venture out to a cross-stitch store that I just found out about here in Branson. Have an idea to take a picture of the rig and cross-stitch it for a wall hanging. I need something to do because I am spending way too much time on the computer and not doing much of anything else when I am off work.

Tonight we are going to the Dixie Stampede for dinner and the show :) have heard great reviews and the comp tickets make it so affordable.

Have a great day!!!

I'm glad you are taking advantage of all the entertainment while there. The discounts and free stuff is a great perk. I have been to the Dixie Stampede, really great show. All the shows are great. It's too hot for me in the summer, not to mention the throngs of kids. I want to be able to enjoy the outdoors while up there so I plan a Fall excursion up to 'them thar hills"

Nancy, it looks more and more like it's going to be August or September before we hit the road. Just too much to do. What do you think about heading Alice's way in September. Should be cooler and school will be back in session. I want to take Mom to Branson.

Hey Zeee, not sure who Olive Oil is? So don't know if I have met her or not.

Thanks about the picture.
