Wednesday with a few clouds

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Wednesday with a few clouds

Hey everybody,

Sassy and Tessa here. We are starting off the Morning Coffee this morning, although we don't drink the stuff and sorry, but we can only offer dry dog food. But we are sure that all you other fur kids out there would go for that. But "mom" couldn't really think of anything to write this morning, so we got to take over today.

Boy, Abby, Herschel, Remi and all, see to be having a ball on their trip to AK. Sure wish we were on a trip someplace. But our mom is working, so we can't go far, darn it. Wish she would retire before we get too old to enjoy it. She keeps saying she's planning this big trip West in 2014,but she doesn't even have a rig right now, so what's she going to drive? And hopefully our health will still be good enough to do that. My mom (Sassy) is 10 1/2 and my birthday is coming up shortly here too. I (tessa) will be 9, so those old age things that us dogs get will be creeping in.

Mom did take us to Aloha State Park yesterday and we walked all over the place. Got in a little wading at the boat launch, well at least I did (Tessa). Was kind of warm walking in the sun though. On the way hom we stopped at Burt Lake State Park and we walked along the river trail by the Sturgeon River. No way to get down into that river to wade though, darn. But by the time we got home, it felt good to just sprawl out and sleep. We're glad for that trip though and we were getting cabin fever with mom working and then two days of rain over the weekend.

But now mom has to go back to work for a week before she's off again, so we will have to just take walks around the area for now. She says to say that she is glad that everybody seems to be doing okay and hopes all those who are traveling have safe trips, those who are under the weather, get better and everybody else just have a great day no matter.

Was nice talking to you all. Have a wonderful day from us too.

Good morning Sassy and Tessa,

Pirate, Sadie and Georgia signing on here to say that we also would like to be travelin' dogs....but our mama says we bark too much...what does she expect from us? Meowing??

Cloudy day here in NY and we are trying to dig a hole under the fence so we can chase those deer who straddle right up to the fence and laugh at us....someday we will be free..

Here's a biscuit for you.

From,

Molly reporting in for me and Dinah this morning!

I saw a bunny running around the yard at sunrise today, but my mom wouldn't let me out to chase him! We finally got up about an hour later, and by the time I was out the door, no bunny! Dinah doesn't seem to care about bunnies, but I sure do-----bunnies and squirrels really get my blood racing!

I was to go and get put to sleep for x-rays this morning, but I feel so good and am not having any pee problems that mom called the doc and cancelled the appointment. She said she will keep an eye on me and keep on with my antibiotics. After all, yesterday when we all took a walk to the pond, Mandy, Orion, Mom, Ruger, Marlin, Dinah and me, I was running along as the leader and feeling like a puppy again. Mom worries about me too much I feel.

Today I have had breakfast, my icky pills, a drink, a walkabout in the yard, and am now about to take a nap until we maybe go for another pond walk later. However, the sun is being blocked out now by the incoming clouds. Sigh.

Mom wil go inside to ake care of that little human-looking creature they call Orion while his daddy stacks firewood for the winter.

Hope you all get a chance for a fun walk and some chasing of critters that beg to be chased!

Happy travels!

Hi there gang!

Teddy here! Mom has been complaining that it's too cold here and she lit the woodstove yesterday. There were still coals in it when she got up this morning, so she added more wood and it's still keeping the house nice and warm. She said that when it warms up, she's going to take me for a long walk, so I hope that happens real soon.

Mom has been working in her vegetable garden in between rain showers and says we'll have lots of tomatoes, squash and cucumbers, but says they need warm temperatures and sunshine.

I see the sun has popped back out, so I'm going to see if I can coax mom into going outside with me for awhile.

Hi everyone,

Luke here. My mom is telling us we are going to be living someplace different pretty soon. I understand it's going to something that we can all go camping in all the time. I like camping. My Mom took me to Oklahoma a couple of weeks ago and she said I did really good. I sure showed Belle up! I went in and out of the 5th wheel by myself and then sat there for my Mom to hook me up to the lines she had for us so we couldn't run off. Not that I wanted to. Mom took me for a walk everyday while we were there. She says that she and I should lose a little weight when we start going on walks everyday around campgrounds. I really like my walks with Mom. Rascal has not been camping yet, but I bet he does good. He's pretty laid back too.

I can't wait to meet some of you in our travels. We like making new friends. All our people friends bring their doggy kids over to see us when they come visit so we make friends easily.

Good morning all, Tyler here. Mom was too lazy to get out of bed early enough to go for a walk. It is too hot after 7am to walk. Today is sunny and blue skies, but HOT. So I just patrolled the property checking for possums, squirrels and cats and let her know that I won't let her sleep in tomorrow. Back inside the cool house to sleep until my evening meal and patrol. Enjoy your day where ever you are. Woof.

Hello from Pepper the cocker spaniel in Alabama! Mom is still drinking coffee (that human stuff) and waking up and deciding where we'll go today for a ride. She'd like to find a place we haven't been to, but since she quit that thing called "work" we've ridden all over the state! Yesterday some ladies came and put some stuff in that BIB water bowl in our backyard, I don't guess it will hurt me to dink out of it! Fun day to all, Pep

Mooch the cat here. I'm getting very nervous about the boxes piling up and the furniture leaving...this can't be good. Every day something else changes. I try to sleep all day and not think about it. The big furless cats are spending a lot of time in and out of that house on wheels thing. I hope this doesn't mean we're getting ready to go somewhere again. It took a while to settle into a new routine last time, and I hate new routines. (Meg here: Estimated date for full-timing lift-off is June 30!!)

GOOD MORNING HOOMAN SISTAHS!

Shade checking in here. Mom is holding me on her lap so I can reach the pooter thing. Can't see why she spends so much time on it when she could be playing with me tho?

Mom has to go to that thing she calls work at 1pm. Sure wish she didn't have to go cause then she gets to tired to go outside and play. My big Sissy is excited cause the phone thing rang this morning and it was a message thingy. She called the phone back and we all listened to it. It was a call from a Dennis guy from the WalMart store and he says Sissy needs to be there at 1pm cause they are gonna offer her a job. The job thing is work. Great, that means that both my hoomans will be doing that work thing and I will have to spend time all alone. I will have Sissy's bed all to myself but would rather share it.

Wish Mom and Sissy could stay home cause the weather here is nice and I sure would like to go for a ride or maybe just play outside some more. I sniff and sniff all the time looking for treasure in the grass but haven't found more than bugs and other fascinating smells tho. All the smells are super but I'm looking for treasure so that Mom and Sissy don't have to go to that work thing and then could stay at home all the time and pay attention to me. That would make me really happy.

Opps! Mom says I have to stop now as she wants the pooter back so she can check up on all youse guys. Bye for now. Oh! Mom says for everyone to have fun and be safe. :D

And......Love to all

Peaches here.

I don't understand my mom. She set an alarm thingie that was really annoying at 6ish this morning. She says it was for ME - ha, I'll get up anytime, but would have been just as happy to go back to bed for another couple hours. But she said we HAD to get up if I wanted a walk before she had to go to class? What's class? I know what it means when she says go to work. Well, now I know that class means the same thing - I stay here - she leaves. I guess it's nice of her to get up extra early so I got at least a 45 minute walk. And she was back sooner than I thought. That work thing here can keep her gone a long time. But I'm good and keep my eye on the place - and will continue to do so as long as I get good walks again when she gets home. Haven't had one again yet today - but I know we'll have a good one later today. Instead, I get to talk to all of you!

Yesterday Mom took us on a hike to a different trail. I love going different places. But only a minute in Mom said it was way too muddy and will have to wait till later. So she went to another new-to-me trail. This one we went a ways, then I got to go in the creek. I always like that. Then she took a different path back. I thought it was great - including the deep (Mom hollered when she got snow in both shoes) snow - and then a little further on a "alternate" trail, we ran into ice and snow. Mom kept slowing me down and was grumbling about how happy she was to have her walking stick. She said something about she was surprised her butt hadn't landed on the snow or mud yet. Oh, that mud? We ran into a bunch of it that I got in to play ... I thought it was fun. Mom led me to more snow after that, but I kind of thought I was ready to quit playing and she kind of thought I needed to play more. I never win. I guess I got enough of the mud she didn't like off, cuz she didn't give me a bath when we got home. Just sighed. Oh, and that "alternate" trail is an alternate for a reason. It didn't go through yesterday, cuz the melting snow and waterfalls from the melting snow diverted lots of water we couldn't cross. Mom cussed some as we had to go back through the mud. She didn't even seem to mind the area of snow and ice this time. It was a great hike. Wish some of you could have been with me.

Lola Kitty here...mom says Mitch is mean 'cause she is gonna feed her doggie to the bears for a snack! That's just not nice at all!

I am not happy right now cause my security bushes are gone and I can't go outside cause there are big, noisy machine things digging up my dirt that I like to roll around in. What's up with that??

Mom isn't happy right now either cause she doesn't know where we're gonna live cause the lady here can't make up her mind if she's getting married or not and Mom is getting really frustrated. Mom had a hard day at work today, too, so she went to the beach this afternoon to calm down. I feel bad for her and I might even let her hug me tonight, maybe... for a couple of minutes or so, maybe...
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
