some times towns/cities do stupid things like cut off their noses! why make it so the rv park closes strange but we saw strange things in Q as well
always sad to see businesses close
when our first grandson was a baby we would pick him up and as he got old enough we would let him tell us how to get home funny how often the directions took us past the Arctic Circle and they have good ice cream cones the baby ones were free then he out grew them

Glad you finally got to see whales. There are blue whales down here now for their migration, so I am going to see about going out on a whale watching boat to see them.

It is sad to see changes, especially when things close down like that.

Wow, I loved the picture of the whale's tail. I am always amazed by them in pictures and on TV. Maybe someday I will get to see one in person too.

It was sad to see the closed store and RV park. Seems like there is too much closing anymore.

It's sad to see both a market and RV park disappear. You are having such a great experience in Alaska this time and I'm so happy you are sharing it with us.

You will see so much beauty in landscape, land and sea life..It is a downer to see businesses close and I know especially for you to see an RV park in that great location. Maybe the 'politics' will get their act together and someone will rebuild. It is a shame.
