Hey Carol, so glad to see you posting again. I was going to send a get well message to the hospital for you, but decided to wait to make sure you weren't out of there and you are. You have my Best Wishes for a speedy recovery and a return to the road down the line. I'm sorry to had to lose out on the trip to AK, but when you are ready, maybe we can go together another time and I'm sure there will be others who will want to joing in as well. Maybe when you get to feeling like you want to hit the road again, you can come up to MI and relax for a while. And I just know Maggie is going to be so happy to have her "mom" back. You take care now, you hear.

Nan, I must have missed a post somewhere, cause I thought you had already sold you MH. Seems like at one time you were going to head over to the east coast cause some people wanted to buy it and you had another one in mind at the same time. Oh well. Good luck with the sale this time.

Soos is going to be happily babysitting little Orion today and everybody else seems to be just chugging along. The AK group will be out of touch for awhile, so we will have to keep any eye on the new to see if the Mounties arrested any wild women up there in Canada.

I've been running around all morning here, so it's a bit after morning here, but still is morning on the left side, so guess that qualifies. Have an appt. with my financial advisor in a bit and then will return home and putter around outside maybe. Bought a hanging basket of Impatiens today and it's out over my back deck. Put my wind chimes out too.

The gang at work tore our break room apart yesterday. Moved everything out and tore out some old storage cabinets that weren't worth much and not being used anymore. This has widened the room up considerably. It's just a little room, mabye 9 by 12 if that, so any more room gained with be nice. Also repainted the whole thing too. Looks really nice. Not done yet, but should be in a few more days. Also cleaned and tossed and what not in the HQ shop areas too, so the boss is going to be surprised when he comes in today and sees it all. He's lucky we didn't paint the building pink while we were at it That's what happens when you get cabin fever from two days of rain The iedwas flow and the jokes start and things start moving and.........

YAY!!! Carol has broken out and is free!!! So good to see you posting. And I love that positive attitude you have. Glad to see that you have the plan to spend winter in Florida!!! Can't get much better than sunshine and friends....

Nothing going on here. Kelly is done with the bathrooms and she had to clean 2 cabins because of checkouts. She is gonna get cleaned up and go put in a few applications. We are keeping our fingers crossed that she finds a decent job that she will like!

Gonna go read postings and check up on ya'll. Hope everyone has a great day and gets to spend it just how you want it. Stay safe ya'll.

CArol, seeing that you opened the Morning room today made me smile ear to ear. So glad you're out of the hospital. I know that it's still a tough road, but you get to see Maggie today and hopefully have her with you full time again soon. And you are getting better. Not sure how that is possible as you're pretty much perfect as it is. Seriously happy that you were released and I know that you'll tell those doctors what you can and can't do - not the other way around.

Glad you have your sister with you and your son coming today. You'll continue recuperating so much better now that you're out and with family.

And now I need to jump in the shower, eat something, and get ready for work.

So good to see your post Carol. I know you will be glad to get to your son's and continue your recovery.

I don't think a portable generator is an option for someone with back problems. I have seen trailers advertised with generators but not often. It would probably cost $3,000 to $4,000 to add one that would run the air conditioner. In motorhomes generators run off the gas tank or they are propane. I don't know how they are fueled in a trailer.

It is getting dry here. My son is mowing and the dust is flying. The noon weather says a chance of rain for the next 10 days but bet it is more humidity than rain. Will have to drag the hose out and start watering. I am going to have a heck of at time keeping my blueberry bushes from dying this summer.

My DH has been complaining about his shoulder for months and now has decided to go to the doctor. I bet he will end up having surgery again. Leave it to him to start something like this when I have a trip planned.

I have to drop the dog off at the vet's this afternoon so he can have his teeth cleaned tomorrow. The high dollar food the vet recommended didn't work. He could probably use a bath but if they don't like the way he smells they can wash him. Only one of our border collies liked getting wet. It looks like with all that hair being wet would feel good in this heat. Better go clean the van again. Traveling with him is like traveling with a kid. He messes with everything he can reach.
