Thought I'd be late for breakfast!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Thought I'd be late for breakfast!

Wow..everyone must be sleeping in! There's coffee, cranberry bran muffins and OJ on the table when you're ready. I don't think I've ever started the day before. Have a couple loads of laundry finished and now I'm debating if I'm going to go out and hit the city wide rummage sales. Last night when I came home from work I stopped at one and came home with a lamp for $2.00...needs a new shade but I like the base and it will work perfect on the night stand in one of the spare bedrooms. As the boys moved out they tended to take a lot of things with them...lamps included! AND I bought a 30 cup coffee pot for a dollar. Just last weekend when we were camping with the crew we were discussing that we really should have one that we filled the night before and leave it set outside so the first person up could plug it in and have it ready for the rest of us. ;) It doesn't seem to take long for 8-9 adults to go through 30 cups when we're all are sitting around the picnic table. So I bought the pot now someone else can be in charge of plug in duty! Doubt that will work though because it seems that Radar always needs to get up and go out before anyone else in the campground!

I am throughly enjoying reading the blogs posted by the Alaska Wild Women! Even though I don't post much I read daily. Thinking of all of you all the time. Enjoy your day.
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

thanks for making the coffee
and good morning everybody
had a high of 111 yesterday, but will be back down to 100 today, thats more the norm
for this time of the summer, but by July it will be back up there.
Need to go make the rv payment today, its not due until the 9th but can't have that
extra money hanging out, don't know when I'll get anymore at this point. Although I think
I have one more little bitty one coming in next Friday but don't know when or even IF
the disability got approved. Since I've never done that, I don't know how it really works.
They told me I would get a letter in the mail but no letter yet.
The girls are up and bugging me for breakfast so guess I better get busy.
Ya'll have a fabulous day.

GOOD LATE MORNING TO ALL!

It has been raining more or less, mostly more, since dawn up here in the north. It's not too cold---about 57 degrees----but not what I would call a good day to be outside. I did manage to go the the dump, so things are less messy here on the compound.

I need to do the brush hog field mowing as soon as possible this year, so as to not allow those trees to gain any size and fill in the open spaces and views ever again. As for the trees already blocking the view in the other side of the field, I will need to try out my new battery-powered chain saw to eliminate their lives.

It's very windy out here now, and a good day to crawl back under my sleeping bag and do some heavy-duty reading and crossword puzzles. Perhaps when those in the house are all awake, I can go in there and tackle some 'destuffing' chores.

Ava, I sure do hope you hear from those people about your disability insurance money soon! I really hope your face will continue to make a fast recovery, as well----but the pain needs to be taken care of first and foremost. Any news about that yet?

That new 30 cup coffee pot will be perfect, Dpf----but remember, those cups are measured in "prim and proper" cups, and not camping mugs! I would believe that pot might make about 15 good mugs of coffee, if it's anything like my 30 cupper! What a great price!

Hope you are geting packed for your trip north, Kathleen, to see your granddaughter graduate!

Happy second day of June to all!
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

doctor said the pain was coming from the nerves coming back alive. She gave me the script for the tramadol and it
works well. The pain is intermittent so I only take when I need to and she said it won't show up in drug test when
I need to do that. I've always been one to tolerate a lot of pain so I only take the tramadol if the pain is keeping
me from sleeping.
