Carol, I can only imagine what you have been through so far all alone.

Glad you have family to assist in your recovery.

What a great surprise to see your post. Getting your strength back will probably be slower than you want but it will happen and you will be on the road again, maybe joining others at GTGs instead of Alaska but lots of fun awaits. Prayers were answered and will continue to be answered as we ((((hold)))) you in our arms.
Be a good girl and you will be on the road again very soon!

Carol - It's so nice to see you posting again even if it is on your iPad!! Do you love it? I like the convenience of it. Am so glad that you are in recovery and have so many prayers being sent up for you. Continue to take care. You and Maggie are in the right place right now. Take care,

(((((((((((((((( Carol ))))))))))))))))) I hate hearing there's even more to this than the pneumonia, but so glad to see you posting and to find you're out of ICU and they can now work on all the rest! I can't imagine how you must have felt all alone and trying to figure out what to do, who to call. You are an example to all of us. A good one! And it sure sounds like if you're going to need help somewhere, you picked the right town for both you and Maggie - as spa she's in, eh? Hopefully she's so pampered that while she misses you, she is to busy getting loves and attn to worry too much about it.

Glad also to hear your sister arrived and you have someone with you.

Didn't send you a greeting at the hospital, figured you had enough to read from the other girls, but hoping you knew that I was praying for a quick recovery! So very glad to see you're out of ICU and into a regular room...Progress! I'm sure Maggie is fine and as someone else said she's such a sweetie they're probably lined up waiting to love on her. I know how scary it must have been being so sick and on your own, went thru something like that in La last year, but only from pure stubborness (or stupidity) and fear of being hospitalized in a strange town kept me from going to the emergency room. So glad your sister is there, that will help, I'm sure, and glad that your son is going to take you home to his place. Get the heart thing taken care of so you can get back on the road and make it to some of the GTG's planned this summer! Love you, GF!!

Carol, great news that you are out of ICU and on the road to recovery, even if it is a slow road. Maybe your sister could bring Maggie something of yours (with your smell on it) to help her cope with your absence. I'm sure she is doing fine and is being so pampered. Continued wishes for your recovery. Linda

Great news that you're in a regular room now. Pneumonia is very serious and here, back in Douglas, we all thought you had a cold. Now let's get docs working on heart issues...any diagnosis?

Wow, gf, I have been out of the loop. So sorry to hear about ICU, WY, etc. I'll pick up on other stuff as this was the first post I have read. I am back at myplace in TN and recovery going well. PT is challenging but well worth it. I'm getting along great. Sure you will have therapy of your own. If I can come get you, let me know as I can drive now. Thinking of you.
