I just updated my blog. Yesterday I finally got to meet Lori and the Sultan (Dock). We had so much fun, they were so delightful.

So glad you had a great visit with Lori and the Sultan. I cannot wait to start meeting ladies from the forum too.

I am really bad about forgetting the open vent in the bathroom. More than once have had to use all my dirty towels from the clothes hamper to mop up rain water on the floor. Oh well.

You deserve to have happy times so try not to feel guilty. Am working on that too.

Love your blog. Travel safe!

You're doing great, Deb! Better than I was at the point you're at now. Day to day and one step at a time!

Good morning Deb
So happy to hear that you got a chance to meet up with Lori and The Sultan. They are the best people!
Lori was the first forum woman that I met and I have to say, she set the tone of group for me. Very warm and welcoming to a newbie.

Sounds like you are getting into life on the road. So glad you were able to meet up with Lori and the Sultan, plus of course their cute little Spinner. Sorry about the mess from the rain, my fan is over the floor which is linoleum thank goodness. Think happy thoughts as often as you can Deb. I was sitting in a little bar in Ireland and a man with a very German accent looked at me as he was leaving and said, "think positively" It took me awhile to realize what he had said and when it hit me I thought oh my, he so pegged me with just a look. I've never forgot that and will frequently repeat it to myself.

Deb, the first GTG I attended was hosted by Lori & Dock. We have had a chance to camp with them for a week this past winter in GA and they are by far, among the coolest couple we have ever met. I'm so glad you are enjoying your trip. What direction are you headed to next?

Deb, sounds like you are doing great. Those memories will come flooding back and you will have you days. But the trick is go go on and do the things you are doing. Allthough I have never been married, I lived with my parents all my life, so I know what'it's like to be alone now. I am a single with no siblings. i go and do my own thing and yes, there are places I go especially where my dad and I went after mom died, that I ocassionally get a little down about, but I keep going.

Hmm, you are tooling arond PA now, maybe it's time to head over here to MI.

I"m going to have my first mini GTG next month with JudyJB when she comes up here to northern MI. Really looking forward to it. Hope I acan meet some more "sastahs" during the summer. Going to try to GTG with Linda somehow too.

Lori and Ernie are great folks. Glad you got to meet your first forum sister! Hope you get to meet lots more of us.

As to the vents - I have covers over mine and have never gotten more than an occasional drop of water that manages to get swept in with the wind - in the worst of storms. I wouldn't want to be without them. I believe mine are MaxxAir covers.

Well, here's hoping the the Air card & external antenna gods are smiling on me and this will post.....It was really nice to meet Deb and Duncan yesterday.....she and I have been trying for a couple of days to connect and make plans, but PM and phone tag is all we could do....so I had Ernie call Deb when he was out to give her the GPS info on how to get here and low and behold, she surprised us with a visit...We took photos and chatted....Deb met Ernie's sisters & spouses and his step-Dad...Spinner and Duncan made friends....and we had a great visit!!!!

I'm always thrilled when I meet any of my sisters here....and it's extra special to meet and welcome new sisters...you all mean so much to me....

We plan to stop and visit as many of you as we can on our travels this year....and as soon as we get to where I can post our trip planner on our blog, we'll do some meeting up with.....

We leave the "no cell service" home base campground here on June 14th heading north to up state PA to visit family there and where there will be cell service and internet....Yeah!!!!

Deb was kind to update me on things here, and when I can catch up with the posts, I'll be doing my best to comment, etc....

So thanks for all your kind words, and for being patient with me....

Miss all of you so much.....
