What!?!!!!!! Lori is here first today??? Amazing!!! That darn wind came back last night with a vengence....and brought Mr. Rain with it too... So am up early....

We had a great time, last night, meeting up with Beth, Sparkle, VTChris, and Bob.....Donna and Mike so enjoyed the get together, too....Everyone agreed that that's about the best asian food ever.....

Just plugged in Barbzeee's coffee pot.....found the new biscotti jar......and I brought along some of my orange rolls with cream cheese icing......now that I have coffee, will go read what's happening....

Gooooood Morning Sistahs!

Yep it's Wednesday and it's suppose to be hump day. At least for most people. Kelly and I only have to work 4hrs on our day off for the week this Friday. Only got 109hrs in for the past 2wk pay period. And that's because she and I both left early at lunch one day cause she and I were both feeling crappy. Hmmmm? Kinda leaning toward it being something we ate at Shoneys.

Heat wave on the back porch this morning. No coat required it's 55 out there. Weatherman calling for rain and temp in the 60's. Ya know I don't think they know a whole lot more than the rest of us do. The study the weather patterns, winds and what not then give their best educated guess as to what we are going to have for weather. Humph! I could probably do that and sure would like that pay!

Barbz is MIA this morning doing her Barbz stuff so here me is doing my thing! I know, I know. But we do the best we can in her place. Got the coffee pot ready and it sure does hit the spot this morning. I'm on my third cup but I have to go hit the indoor rain locker and get cleaned up. Don't know about getting 'clean' but I just know I'll smell better. hehehehe Come on in and grab a cup, some biscotte, cinnamon rolls, donuts and some oatmeal raisin cookies. And I'll catch ya'll later.

Hope everyone has a great day, mine started out with a good storm, I've been told, I slept through it. Had a call from a friend, to make sure I was ok over here, thats how I found out, how bad it was in some areas. Sun is out now, but more rain and storms coming according to the newscaster, until the time arrives, I don't worry, have to see for myself how accurate they are this time,

Nothing unusual happening in my day, just want to say hi to all and hope the day is a good one for all of you. I hadn't thought only two weeks left, think I best get moving faster on my list of things to do .

For the lucky ones on the road, stay safe, for those of us stuck in our stick houses for now, our day is coming

Good late afternoon, y'all! Back from school. Was 43 here this morning, windy, and POURING rain! Changed to snow at about 10:00 in Saranac Lake, and is now 21 degrees with snow showers! We got about 3 inches of new snow, so far!

I HAD to tell you all that I actually found BISCOTTI in the supermarket after school! I have never seen it before! They had almond flavor and chocolate flavor.....HUGE boxes of it in the aisle, with bags in the boxes. I looked at the bags, checked out the fat/calorie/fiber and other stats, and didn't buy any. I felt it throught the bags, and it's hard as a rock, besides being very not on my diet! BUT.....I SAW IT!!! Now I know you all aren't pulling my leg about the stuff!

Gimmee a nice soft, fatty, high-caloric YUMMY pistachio muffin any day....if I MUST indulge myself!

I must admit, I'm not a biscotti fan - but one of the ladies here had some homemade chocolate ones that were the closest to changing my mind of any I've ever had. Having been married to an Italian - and spending all our holidays in true Italian fashion, those are one of the few Italian foods they never converted me to. But I think the main reason is because I don't drink coffee. I never quite wanted to dunk them in my hot chocolate - although these chocolate ones here I did that with - and I'm not a big fan of almond cookies, either - and traditional biscotti are made with almond in them -

But, Soos, I wouldnt be any more interested in those pistachio muffins LOL - I love pistachio nuts, but haven't found anything (ice cream included) flavored with them that I'm a fan of.

Okies, I'm strange and I do admit it.

Now, I just walked Peaches down to the beach - water is much calmer today - was wild yesterday. But boy is it COLD. Not to fear, though - tomorrow we'll get back to the 60's and early next week we're supposed to hit 80 again Weather is so fickle - will be awfully cold in the morning when we leave for MX, so will have to wear layers - as I know it'll get into the 60's later in the day - maybe upper 60's as we go south.

Thank you so much for combining these two posts. I got done with mine and then I saw Cedar's post! It sure started my day off with a good laugh. And in the morning, facing work I can use all the laughs I can get.

But what the hey? We had lots of coffee to go around.

No coffee or Baileys for me tonight. I had a mug of milk and Chips Ahoy soft chewy chocolate chip cookies. Yum Yum

Gonna be heading off to bed right shortly. I am pooped right out. For some reason I haven't been sleeping very good. I lay in there half awake for a couple of hours or toss and turn or wake up 3 or 4 times and have a hard time going back to sleep. I have no freaking idea why!!! But dang it I am feeling it. So I'm gonna go crawl into bed as soon as I take Shade out one last time to P.

Good Morning. It is breezy in FLorida today too. We have a storm coming in, so will have rain in about two hours..yuk. Got too much to do today to be bothered with rain.

This year has shot by for me, hope next year moves along just as quickly.

You sistas are really bad for me, posted the information on cake balls, I made them. Looked up additional recipes online and founddthat even Nieman Marcus makes these and sells them at an outrageous price. My daughter in law also got hooked so she made a bunch to take to work. Mine are going with me to a meeting tonight. Got to get rid of them so I don't eat them!!

So here is a plateful of cakeballs, both chocolate and white chocolate. enjoy with your early morning cuppa. A true sugar high will be forthcoming.
