I did a post on my blog to cover everyone who wants updates as I travel and it is easier to post pictures on it than on here. Will try to take pictures and post each day. Am looking forward to getting to Mannhiem, PA tomorrow.

Congratulations, Deb----you have successfully lived the first day of the rest of your life with what sounds like proficiency! Your blog posts have me teary-eyed. They are so from the heart and wonderfully written. What a super last gift you were able to give your husband, and I can tell by that last look that it was a thank you to you. You should feel very proud of all your doings this past year, including your first day alone on the roads!

So happy that the first day went well. You are setting forth on an adventure of life. Everything is a journey... just some of us like to explore more than others to find what is outside the comfort zone...to stretch who we are. So glad that we are a growing and always learning species.... :) Safe travels and I bookmarked your blog so that we can travel with you!

I also want to add my congratulations on your first day. And I love your writing style, will also bookmark your blog to follow along. Although a hint now and then here to let us know is good, too :)

You have a great attitude, and I hope that between the traveling and the writing, you can start healing more - as well as getting together with folks along the way (like your brother and our fellow woman rver you'll be meeting soon).

Just read your blog. Your words while sad were also heart warming.

As in your blog you stated that you have always been a strong person and I do believe that you are. You also mentioned how you didn't know how you are gonna get thru it all. And you mentioned that all you wanted to do was crawl into bed and cover your head. You I think, have found that you don't have to force it as it is natural that it will happen. And being a strong person you will find going on a little bit easier than you thought.

You can do it. Go get 'em girl.
