SUNDAY MAY 20TH

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

SUNDAY MAY 20TH

Postby Nasoosie » Sun May 20, 2012 6:42 am

GOOD MORNING TO ALL!

Mandy, Orion, and I will be going to St. Lawrence's graduation ceremony today.

Molly injured herself badly last night while trying to jump back up on my high bed in the middle of the night. See yesterday's morning coffee post for details. I put it on there thinking I might not get back on here to add this post. I cannot get on ORS at all this morning....can't log in no matter how many times I try.

I need to get dressed and ready to go now. Will take Molly to vet tomorrow if I see no improvement. I gave her a derramax pain pill to try to keep her comfy today.
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

Poor Molly! I hope she's feeling better today and you can avoid a vet bill, Soos.

The Alaska bound group is on the move again this morning too after waiting out a day of wind and rain. We'll be landing in Wyoming tonight at another free city park with elec. hookups. Gotta love these western towns. This one in Ft. Morgan, CO, had a donation box, so we left donations and comments for them. Sure wish more towns in the East had these.

Today we will see how it will be traveling with 6 rigs together, 3 sets of Wilkie-talkies. But we have a route and common destination, so should not be a problem if we get separated as I'm sure will happen, along the way.

Hope everyone has a great day, whatever your plans.

good morning ladies
more of the same routine, just a different day.
Poor Molly, hope nothing serious in that injury Soos,
I'm enjoying following along on the Alaska group, perhaps
its keeping me sane during my rehab, frustration is really
setting in here ladies. Trying to do research on the nutritional
aspects of nerve health but everything I read is related to an
advertisement. I want some good solid facts. Miss my nutritional
healing book I left packed in the rv. Its just too far for me
to drive like this, my eye is only good for a couple miles and
then severe discomfort sets in. Maybe if I beg I could get my
friend Sandy to drive me out there. Its worth a try.
On that note, I'm gonna get some laundry done and my room cleaned
and by then it might be late enough to give her a call.
Ya'll have a great day and here's hoping the Alaska group has
safe travels today. Wyoming...here they come, get ready :D :o

Good Morning over a good cup of coffee here... over slept so did not get to church... that is not bad as I did not sleep Friday night... think it is the med she puts in when she does the injections... TKR is total knee replacement...
Soos so sorry about Molly... here is an idea when I was at Mitch's last year she has a ramp for her little one Abby... maybe you could make a foldable one for your dogs... no fun having them hurt...
Ava maybe you could talk with BJ she knows so much about healing... just a thought... patience is not a virtue for many of us... but wait you must... maybe get someone to go to the library and get you some talking books that would pass the time for you... most libraries have the machines to loan also...
Oh Liz I have never been to Wyoming... hope it is beautiful! hmm think that is called big sky country not for sure...
Not much happening here today... I liked what one of the forum ladies believe it was CArol said yesterday... maybe it will be the best day of your life!!!

Good morning ladies. Quiet day here too just drinking my coffee and catching up with all of you. Sure hope Molly is OK and maybe just a pulled muscle. I have steps for Luke to get up on the bed. I got them at Petsmart. Don't remember how much they were. They are pretty light as they are made out of plastic. I wish you could have heard Chuck laugh at me as I was going up the steps on all fours to teach Luke how to go up them. I am soooo glad he did not grab a camera!

Kathleen, hope your knees get to feeling better. It has to be miserable for you getting those shots.

Ava, I have a friend from high school who knows about herbs and Homeopathic remedies. I will ask her what you can do. She has a website too. I will get that IP address for you if you are interested.

Liz, I hope you all have a wonderful day today on your trip. Cannot wait for any pics you post.

Had a great phone call from Darla, our oldest, this morning. She is planning on coming over next weekend to have a girls night with me and her daughter. She is going to rent some comedies for us to watch. Said she wants to help me get the house ready to call a realtor. I am really looking forward to that. I am so glad she and I were able to talk through what was bothering her before Chuck passed away. She has been wonderful about checking on me to make sure I am doing OK. She wants to go with me soon to see the MH I want when the place sells. She keeps telling me to just concentrate on that and how much fun we are going to have after I get it. Will do a shake down trip with Mom and all the girls. No grandkids allowed that trip.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day today.

Good Morning
Just a quick check in this morning as I need to leave the house in a few minutes. Really want to catch up on the Alaska blogs but that will have to wait until tonight.

Soos - i do hope Mollys injury is not a serious one. Keep us posted on how she is doing.

My friend made in back around midnight. It ended up costing her over $700.00 to get her car repaired from the accidental dose of diesel fuel. She was exhausted. Thought she would sleep in and take it easy today but she just called and asked me to come spend the day with her. She wants me to start going thru her late husband's office to look for will and other important papers.

I need to go start Magic sometime today and drop off my latest treasures for her. Major find was a folding step stool like Beth had recommended. After checking Wal-Marts in 3 states was about to give up on finding one (this was found at Old Time Pottery). Anxious to see if it is high enough for me to see in the freezer.

Hope all have a wonderful day.

A bleak gray day here in WA.. i know it was coming.. after a beautiful past week of gorgeous weather .. showers have arrived... our flowers and lawn do need a drink tho.

Getting geared up to go next month back to the beach. Last yr it was 1/2 the cost in gas to go 160 miles round trip!! Now with the holidays approaching the gas has gone back up. I am glad my pickup isnt my main vehicle for driving anywhere.. what a gas hog.

Hope Molly is feeling better.. maybe crate rest for a few days...

Enjoying the AK blogs and adventures.. boy am i jealous.. wish i could afford to go but its out of the question... Sounds like so much fun!!!

Everyone have a good day no matter where you are!

Got the day off today! There was a meeting scheduled for 8am this morning at work but was cancelled at the last minute last night, so I was gratefully able to sleep in this morning!

Got word that the studio I was interested in, is available again. Apparently the person who wanted it, didn't qualify. I am not sure I will either, but am going to take another shot at it. Got all the paperwork they want and will deliver that this afternoon. If it is meant to be, it will happen for me. If not, I will keep looking...

Soos, let us know how Molly is doing! Poor baby!

It is sunny this morning. Must be gonna get hot today since my roommate just turned on the AC and she rarely does that.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

I"ll keep my fingers crossed for you Barbie that the studio apartment works out. Soos, hope Molly is feeling better. Jumping is what gets my dogs in trouble, their old legs just can't handle it, although I will say since Andy had his teeth cleaned and a few pulled he acts about 5 years younger and can jump on the couch. I was able to stop his Derramax pills also, who knew, but sounds like Molly pulled something.
Kathleen, thanks I did send Ava some links to web sites that might help also found the suggestion that acupuncture is helpful. Sarah hope you have recovered from dashing around after the escapee yesterday.
I'm really enjoying the Alaska adventure, sure wish I were headed for cooler weather, it is supposed to be 102 with the heat index by next weekend ACK :!: :!: :!: We shouldn't be getting this so early, also there has been no rain for ages and the ground is as hard as a rock, ummm except for the place where I left the hose on last night, didn't discover it until I went out with the dogs after church. Too bad I didn't have a sprinkler going but I was just watering my herbs and some flowers so it just ran into the ground where I dropped the hose. I don't usually do outside stuff and I thought I was being so careful and I was pleased with myself for remembering to turning the water off, except I turned it the wrong direction
Hope everyone is having a good day.
