BJ gives absolutely terrific massages too!!! I have not had such a good one in forever and I sure appreciated it and most of all enjoyed it so much.

Her offer to help you quit smoking is wonderful. Terrible habit to break ,from another who has been there and so thankful I did it. Like Birdie, I refused to pay good money for them anymore. Quit going to store where that was my main purchase, yr. and half later owner asked me where I had been?

However you can do it for you, I am wishing you the BEST OF LUCK .!!!!! You really will feel soooo much better, and the important thing is you will be in control of you , not some burning piece of crap in your hand. This point was VERY important to me.

Sure glad to hear test results are all good, and that you are being nice to yourself and making sure all is A ok.

CArol :)

Final visit with the heart doc this morning.....

echocardiogram...good
stress test....100% for my age
Holter....good

Like I said, must be in my head. But glad that all of those came out good and at least I don't have to worry about that part of my anatomy. OK Birdie, you can quit worrying now! :D

But I am sure there can be new reasons to worry...just give it time  You'll get yourself into something "fun" ;) Just let the consequences be stuff we can bail you out of.

Good to hear that all of the tests are coming out " normal " , but has anyone else here thought that might be the problem?
Ya know, Sharon-normal......just wondering

I really am glad it all says you're okay but the real question is, how are you feeling? I do worry about you GF ;)

Glad all is good so far Sharon but, don't you have the 'fun' tests coming up in June? I keep wondering why they spread the test out over so many months? Is is your insurance or shortage of doctors out there? Maybe you will be over what ever it was bothering you by the time they get finished with their checking.

Maybe we should pay BJ for a massage. It might encourage her to show at more GTG's. Many of us have wk jobs or other means of making extra money while traveling...this could be BJ's help with gas money.
On the quit smoking subject...I quit in 83. I have known some to quit with hypnosis. I just put them down. For about a month, I would occasionally put one in my mouth for a few seconds. I was told it was an oral fixation and this might help me. It really did..I knew with my family history I would be in trouble a few years down the road but the thought I held on to was not my health or the money but my vanity. I knew my house smelled like cigarettes (before going outside to smoke), my beauty shop was like a smoke filled bar with all of us and our customers smoking. I wanted to smell better and look better and as I've said before I was tired of fighting my husband for the last cigarette. He quit a couple of years later. Just putting in my 2 cents worth because I want to encourage anyone trying to give them up.
