Hi!

I really like my Riptide. Every time I walk into it, I feel like i'm walking into a condo! lol We've named her Ruchel bas Riptide.

We've had a few minor problems with it...nothing major tho and all fixed under warranty. We did have some kind of air bag system put into it due to the rough road ride on horrible highways. The coach is on a 'truck' chassis' vs an air ride system in most bus like coaches. I can't give a review of it because it still needs to be tweeked...and I just got it back from having the work done.

I like that the living area of the coach, from the dog house to the bathroom, is not carpeted. There is plenty of storage space inside the coach, the bathroom is large compared to my other rv. It came with 2 tvs (a 32 in the living area and a 19 in the bedroom) and 2 dvd players. It also came with a microwave/convection oven and 3 burner stove w/oven...still haven't used the convection part. We had a satellite dish installed....had one on the old rv but we weren't allowed to remove it. There is ample storage on the outside but would have liked full pass thru on all of them. Only the rear is a full pass thru.

Until I get my pix up on some photo site, I can't send any pix. I'll also take some pix of Ruchel this weekend.

Enjoy your day!

Well, I got where I was going...about an hour from home. Took me a bit longer since it was soooo windy and I had to go a bit slower than usual. Then I almost missed my turn...and with that turn, a very tiny birds egg plopped down on my lap and broke!!! I have no clue where it came from! All I know is that it was a real egg! :o I found another small egg on top of the slide on the drivers side behind me. Don't know how it got there!

Took me longer to get set up due to the fact I couldn't locate anything I needed where I thought the stuff was! lol It took me 20 minutes to locate my bbq grill! I still have tons of stuff to put away...stuff I took out in the fall like summer clothing. I'm sure when I'm not looking for something, it'll turn up! lol

It's 48 degrees here now at 9:45 pm...hopefully it won't get to much colder! I am pooped so I think I'll say nitey nite and turn my bed warmer on. In case you're wondering...it's an electric mattress pad.

Hi and Welcome, Ronni. And there is no such thing as too long of an intro or too much info. Love everything you shared and look forward to meeting you down the road one day.

Oh, and it sounds like you might have had a birds nest on top of the rig/slide - hopefully not inside the rig, but if that popped down in your lap, it's possible - or in a skylight?

Thanks for the welcome, Beth!

I checked the top of the slide before I opened it....all I found was another tiny but slightly squished egg. I just had some work done on my rig and they had the slides out...maybe it happened then and when they brought the slides in, the eggs might have slipped under the rubber gaskit (or whatever it's called). The shell was a very light mottled beige and very thin. I'm thinking the egg was less than an inch tall...maybe it was a hummer egg?? That would be very sad.....

Now I'm really going to bed! lol

Night all....

Hi Ronni, it was me that told you about our wonderful group in Tx! But I told ya, don't mention my name, might get you in trouble before you even get started! Glad that you finally made it in here, tho.

Ladies, she's a woman after our own hearts, independent and has the most gorgeous and well behaved Papillons you've ever seen. She and her daughter invited me out to dinner with them in Greenville, but I had previous plans with my cousin and before I could turn around, she was gone....so I didn't get to visit with her for very long. Hope to meet up with you again in Tx sometime, Ronni, I'll be in Greenville again in Oct, but it sounds like you'll already be gone by then. Anyway, a big forum welcome to you!
