Tuesday, All is well????? Mmmmmm Morning ! Yes, it's me again today...and in keeping you all in the Holiday Spirit I've been a tad busy..cause I have to explain..Loading software to create these Gems has been trying...to say the least..and my English has been a bit tarnished.. I've even learned some "new" words..they may have not been in your vocabulary but they found their way in mine..Ouch !!!

So in hoping I don't stay in this frame of mine I've been doing some Christmas Baking...ooooh yeah...what has passed these lips in the last few days...oooooooh I shouldn't even talk about...but how could I not share with my "Sista's" and for my kitchen table no less...well maybe they'll make it there...hmmmmmm..

Ok, now I see not too much is happening but I'm sure it's because you are all doing the Christmas Shopping and heading to a warm place..well some of you are..but for those that like the "Winter" I have some warm Hot Cocoa, some Mulled Wine oh and some good old Fashion Hot Toddy...

I want to say Hello to the "Newbies" and let them all know...there is always room at my Table to sit a spell and tell us what's planned for your day..or even share some good tips... oh yeah.. We have lots of places here for you all to Yell it out..well softly any way.. Ifn' ya need help in posting..that's simple just check out our Tech areas ... it's not hard ..just getting the hang of things is all there is..

Soisew (Shelly) Your craft work is a beauty and it truly is almost a lost art.. Lots of women use to have groups years ago that would get together and do quilting..My mother in law did it...and she'd do gifts for all of us.. she kept pieces of clothes from her children and when they all got married they were given a quilt of their clothes...such a neat talent... and you should be very proud... and by the way welcome too !!

CookieMom (Debbie) aaaaah welcome too..and thank you.. I'm so glad you found us...we didn't go to far..and as you will notice, it's just like home. We have a great Campfire going all the time and we sure do love to share all your stories and we have lots too..gosh we is just a group of great folks.. Good to have you with us..and always have lots of room ..

Nasoosie (Soosie)..ok.. now I thought I saw your Quilt posted..but did my eyes deceive me ???? and how is that North Pole ...Oh, you didn't answer my question...Does Molly have Booties while she romps through the snow ?????? Your pictures of that snow make me feel it ..they are so great looking..in fact if you take some pictures of your pastures while it's snowing I'll incorporate it in one of my winter scenes..ifn' ya don't mind..

Hey where's SeeyaGal ..??? Jenny must have Dan putting up Christmas Decorations... I'm sure we're gonna be gasping when we catch her post...Oh Jenny ???

Ok, Coffee pot is perking and I've got lots to do this morning.. I won't be here tomorrow ..but I might surprise ya Friday..... trying to get me together is another story..but the pieces are slowly sliding in.... I miss you all lots...

Hiya my friend,.... so good to see you here in the kitchen this morning. Your kitchen just isn't "right" without you in it!

I've had my o.j. and i'm getting ready to move on to the real breakfast. Weather is fine here, of course it's chilly, but it IS December! And looks like we may be getting some snow/mix stuff in the next day or so, but also some rain, so who knows!

Arrived at school yesterday to find the cafeteria decorated with a beautiful and lights. The cafeteria manager really goes all out for the kids.

Thanks for your morning run-down on happenings Zeee,.... it's so good to see new members joining us here. We still have quite a few that have joined our forum but never post,... I hope they see what a great time we all have here and jump in soon. Thanks to Soosie, Debbie and Shelley for joining and then posting and letting us get acquainted! You gals are great!

Well Goooooooood Morning Sistahs!!!

Ahhhh Barbz! You bring a smile to my face and start my day off on a good note! You have been very much missed.

Hey we're having a heat wave out on my back porch!! It's a whole wopping 34 out there this morn. That's a whole lot warmer than it has been the past few mornings. Weird I know? But while I hate the cold I love the snow! If only it could snow lots and not get that bitey frigid cold. I would love to see about 6 or 8 inches of snow for Christmas. David would go snowboarding and maybe the rest of us could do some tubing??? LOL Only if they have a way to get my old tired butt up the hill. Then I could go and tell ya'll my misadventure on the lift and slopes! LOLOLOL I can just picture me now. Getting my britches caught on the lift and skiing along on my nose or the top of my head. And going down the slope on my butt with no tube cause I've lost it on the last bump!! Oh, oh, oh.

This Friday is our last paycheck before Christmas so I guess when we get out of work we will be doing what little shopping we can. None of us are rich here this year so we will be really scratching our heads and wracking our brains for good gifts that each will like and use without breaking the bank. Or robbing one for that matter. I have one gift for Kelly and one gift for Jenny so far, I'm in desperate need of a brain storm for ideas of what else to get. But where David is concerned? I am at a complete loss on any idea of what the heck to get David. I've told Kelly a couple things I want that the 3 of them can join in on and share the cost. Now if money were no object?? Boy could I have a blast!!! Hmmmmm? New motorcycles for everyone, new truck for me, an RV, a Coleman Roadtrip Grill, paid schooling for Jenny, oh yeah I could have a ball! ~sigh~ LOL Dream on!!!! Maybe someday I win the lottery for more than $20 or so!!!!

Ok time to go read any email I've gotten and get my comic fix for the day.

YIPEEEEE!!!!!! Barbzeee 2 days in a row..... She's getting her "groove" back...... I just love the artwork.....Now that's what we all have been missing....Barbzeee in the Morning.......I'm sure one of us can carry the ball tomorrow and the next day....or when ever it is needed....but Barbzeee has the "touch"...... She sure does make my day.......

Okay...My plans for the day.....well, by golly, am going to finish that afghan...even if it kills me.....but since we can't do much outside with the wind still whipping around....I'm sure I'll get it done today..... Donna's doing breakfast and we're going to meet up with Beth, Sparkle,& VTChris for supper.....so no cooking for me..... Okay, will make Ernie a ham sandwich for lunch, if he's hungry.......

Morning all.

VTChris has used the hot tub twice that I know of since getting here last night. I haven't been in it since the temps have gone down LOL - need to start again.

Last night Sparkle and I went to dime Bingo. It's a type of Bingo played with cards - and the first time either of us played. Most you can lose is $1.80 LOL - so it's for the big spender in us. Guess what? I finally won something! Got all of about $6 in dimes that came home with me. Woooooooooohoooooooooooooooo It's really a fun game, and I'm guessing Sparkle and I now have our Monday nights planned out.

Today, Sparkle is going to the rec hall for a lesson in Texas Hold 'Em - I might get her to my Sunday night game yet VTChris isn't interested in games - and is taking today to go look at rv parks in the area - then will meet up with us tonight for our dinner - which will be fun. A gentlemen from the singles group that Chris and I belong to is joining us - as well as the couple that Lori and Ernie are such good friends with - so we'll have a nice group.

Oh, after Sparkle takes the poker lesson, she'll be doing the line dancing class. I'm going to see if I can cut out of work 1/2 an hour early and join that one. I felt like a fool at the one Sunday - but hey, can't learn if I don't make the effort, right?

Okies, I'm on breakfast break - want to read a bit of the forum, then it'll be time to head back to work.

Whoo Hooooo - two days in a row with Zeee - Yipee!!

Right now its about 72 degrees and they're saying we might have snow flurries tonight. You gotta love Texas weather. Yesterday I emailed Red Rock Park in Gallup, NM, my favorite place. They've never used a host before but are interested so everyone keep your fingers crossed. I would LOVE to spend the summer in Gallup and be there for the big pow wow in August. The only downside is they don't have sewer hookups, just a dump station. I made a few calls yesterday and found a couple of places there that will send a honey wagon to the park. Since I wouldn't be paying for a site or electricity I can afford that expense.

Well, I'm off to the cookies and tea for the ladies here in the park so we can all meet each other.

It's a beautiful winter day here. We have about 5-6 inches of new snow on the ground and "fluffy" pine trees! The sun was out and we got up close to freezing. The highway dried off but the good news is we had no wind so drifting didn't happen. It's down to 25 now at sunset (don't ya hate it the sun goes down at 3:30) Our high hills make for early sunsets! Never would have thought that of Nebraska would ya?! We will go to near zero tonight with no clould cover. Tomorrow's temp will be in the 40's so it will really melt down the snow before the next storm is due to arrive on Thursday. The farmer's almanac said we'd have a very snowy December and so far...it's holding true.

Tomorrow I'm going to nix the morning computer time to work on cleaning, Christmas prep (card, newsletter, etc.) and kick some stuff outa this rig! With our front big slide out pulled in we have way too many things in here. I'm about to go claustraphobic!

Wow, everything is back to "normal." It's good to see you posting again Barbzeee. Missed your art and your summary of other posts. It's been raining and windy here all day. Would have been a good day to stay home from work and just veg!

Due to work, I don't usually get online in the mornings, but will recap my day now: WORK, WORK, WORK. The 2nd Monday of each month my "company" has their Board Meeting, so the following day (today) is a very busy day, paying the bills for the month, etc.

Beth, I am so jealous of all the activities you can attend where you are staying, especially the line dancing lessons. That sounds like so much fun.

Karen, I am about 2 hours from Gallup. We go through Gallup when we go to Albuquerque, which in the spring is about every other weekend. My son plays in a soccer league in Albuquerque as well as participates in the Olympic Development Program for soccer for the State of New Mexico. Because we are closer to Albuquerque than Denver, they allowed him to try out for New Mexico's ODP instead of us having to travel to Denver, which is twice as far. Gallup definitely would not be my dream place during the summer. I like it cooler.
