OFF TO FLYING J AT BORDER OF NY STATE

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

OFF TO FLYING J AT BORDER OF NY STATE

Postby Nasoosie » Wed May 16, 2012 6:32 am

GOOD MORNING ALL!

I will not be having any coffee this morning so I don't have to stop incessantly on the road to release it from another orifice! I am waiting for a bit for the early morning fog to lift and then am heading to New Milford, PA----border line of NY and PA----Flying J to spend the night. Then tomorrow I forge on to Mandy's and Joe's to see Orion!

Time to go brush teeth, empty porta potty, and load the dogs into the truck. It's getting a bit lighter, and I think the fog will disperse within another half hour, or so.

Hope everyone has a fun day, wherever you may be and whatever you may be doing.
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!

Soos! Have a safe drive to your next stop.

Went to bed last night at midnight and woke up and got up at 6:30, almost an hour before my alarm went off. Still sleepy but not gonna give in and go back to bed. If I did I would have a hard time going to bed tonight and sleeping. So here I sit fighting with my laptop cause it doesn't want to stay connected to the WIFI. Someday maybe I will gut a WIFI boost antenna? ~sigh~

Gonna try to work on getting the trailer level again. It was good when we set up in this spot but we have gotten a lot of rain since. I am having major problems with the fridge as it wont stay running and Wendy asked about the level then suggested that the level might be off just enough to mess with it? It's worth a try and if that is the problem?? To fix it would be a whole lot cheaper than the mobile repair guy and paying him $85 per hour. grrrrrrr I don't get paid again until the 25th and paying him would kill the grocery budget.....

Skies yesterday were all nasty, dark gray and really stormy looking all day but all it did was spit and sputter a couple of times. Last night when I took Shade out for her last P the sky was simply loaded with stars! Wow!!! Today looks to be a beautiful day.

And with this beautiful day I hope everyone is having a great day and great weather too! For all the Sistahs on the road today, ie. the Alaska bound Sistahs, I hope you have smooth safe roads. Have fun everyone and be safe.

Love to all

good morning ladies
another day of the rising sun, think my nerve in my tongue is starting to wake up, I feel a slight
tingle in the side of my tongue. Thats a good sign. Gonna go deliver my paperwork today for
the doctor to fill out for my claim. Makes me nervous to think of driving with one eye but if
its too hard by the time I get down the block I'll come back and find an alternative means.
The year end luncheon is today and my coworkers would like for me to come but I told them
I would see how I feel and at any rate my lunch would be packed to go cause I'm not eating
in public until my mouth straightens out. That would not be an appetizing sight for anyone.
Gonna go try and catch up on Beths blog and a few other ones but I keep getting a time out
error so perhaps cleaning out cookies and such is a good idea too.
Ya'll have safe travels.

Nice cool morning here in Limon, CO. Still going to keep my shorts on because it will heat up by 10 or so. Time changed when I hit the border yesterday. So though it is only 7:50 myself thinks it is 8:50. Had a walk this morning and some fruit and cheerios for breakfast. I am joining Soos with no coffee this morning. Too many stops before I get to the end of the day.

Ava, you be careful GF, but then you know what you are safe to do and not. So you go girl. Glad you are getting a tingly tongue :D . May you get a 'flipppy' eyelid soon! And while we are at it, may you get wobbly smile soon. Best of luck on your moving forward over this little bump!

Headed north up toward Alaska today!! Will keep my blog updated if I have a signal. Those of you out there on the road, be safe and watch out for the other guy. Those of you stopped enjoy your day. Those that have to W O R K, remember it is a 4 letter word that creates the 5 letter work M O N E Y.

Good Morning from Normal... the sun is shining and it will be a beautiful day here... not as warm only in the mid 70s for about 3 days then back to the 80s... strange spring for sure...
How much anticipation you must be feeling Soos to see little Orion... Echo up and at it no going back to bed! I did after I woke up at 6 and did not wake up until 8:30 when the dr office called reminding me of my Friday app... I will get injections in my shoulders and knees if she has time... no more falling! Oh Ava I do hope you can go to the luncheon those are always fun to gab and see fellow workers... I remember when I drove you do not get to visit with most as you are going separate directions... and as Anna said be so careful driving... came back in to edit as you posted as I was leaving Birdie... drive safe and have a great day...
My day will be spent cleaning... the floors need vacuuming and there is a lot of dust to clean up... not my favorite job but has to be done...
I hope everyone is having a great day...

AVA, does your community have a disabled or senior van for transportation? Mine does and I used it when I had my knee replacements and couldn't drive to physical therapy. They came and picked me up on both ends. Would have taken my to doctors and shopping. Cost me $1 each way!

A lot of people drive with one eye, but they are used to it. so be very careful.

Good morning gals! I must have had a rough night of sleep. My blankets are all in a big tangled mess on my bed this morning! You'd think with working almost 12 hours yesterday, I would have slept like a rock. Guess not

Got a message back about the cute little studio I found on Craigs List. They want people who are interested, to stop there today after 4pm to pick up an application. I have to work from 1-9 today. Then they are having an open house on Saturday and I think I have to work then too. I emailed back with some questions about deposit, pets, etc, so if it still sounds good, I will try to leave work long enough to drive up there and see the place. It is really cute in the photos and only a block from the beach!

Sunny and beautiful here in SoCal today! I am going to ask to get two days off work each week from now on. I have been working 6 day work weeks for quite awhile now and with summer coming, I really need two days off even if it cuts my hours down some. I am at 46 hours for this week! Nice check coming but I get so tired and I have very little time to go have fun now days.

Can't wait to read all about the Alaska trip!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
