Another great installment, Liz! I am happy you all got together at the beautiful FREE campground! I wonder how they manage to do that? I especially love the black version of the common grey squirrel----they are very beautiful! I have seen just one in my entire life.

And the desks with the inkwells were what I learned to write on, too! We had a job called "inkwell filler-upper" where one of us, with the teacher's guidance, would carry around the jug of ink to fill the little jars that slipped into the wells. We had to Palmer-Method WRITE everything with pens that you dipped into that ink. On my birthday (my 5th) I remember we had to write Happy Birthday on an entire sheet of paper with NO blots or errors. Sigh----I quickly changed from being left-handed to being right-handed in order to avoid smudging the letters with my hand as it passed over them. Ahhhh...memories!

Thanks so much for keeping us updated!

Thanks, Liz.
I like the black squirrels but think Nan would just as soon never see one again after they ate her water hose in FL.
try not to loose anyone today.

I also enjoyed the pics of the black squirrels.

Don't you have each other's cell phone numbers? Don't want you to lose anyone up in Alaska! (Except maybe Mitch...)
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
