I brought my trusted friend along with me..Helping you all stomp off the day...Yeah, Monday always gets me down too...but...think positive...like....17 more days before it's "Ho, Ho, Ho"...aaaaaaah good thought...See, you're smiling already...now to begin the rest of the Saga.............

Asirimarco (Carol) thank you for reminding us all what Dec 7th was all about...and you RV Granny (Lori) for also letting us know that we have many many thanks for, no matter what war it was..it was all that Lost their lives, ones that gave it freely and others that were drafted and so proudly they hailed...truly a day for many prayers.. Thanks to all our Men and Women..God Bless Each and Everyone.

Asirimarco (Carol) you is one busy busy lady..Showing us those beautiful Santa's of Vegas and oh, that Chocolate..mmmmm you know I've never met a person who didn't like Chocolate no matter what flavor it was... Now that's a good Monday thought !

Gentleladybear (Nan) Wow I loved that.. didn't even know that was near by...Gosh lots of interesting findings here in Florida...and by the looks of it that Uncle Tom Turkey ...looks mighty content... Loved the name of the Festival too..Dudley Farm Festival.. I'm sure not only the kids learned but some of us as well... Them biscuits sounds good !

Sparkle and Beth, now I want to hear all about the Line Dancing..as I hear through the trees....that you two are having a blast...Oh and by the way...did any of ya win at BINGO...the Retirees Game of Games..LOL

RVGranny...(Lori and Ernie) I know you are spinning them crafts of yours two...How about show and tell of all them crocheting you've been busy with... I on the other hand haven't picked up them needles..still sitting in the basket...Shame on Me..

Fernie...that campfire has been pulling in some interesting goodies..and amazing that has never gone out...just goes to show you what a little warmth can bring ya....

Ok, all...I hear some strange happenings in the front of the house...Most likely it's Abby and Zeke re arranging my furniture..

Oh and Liz...I want you to know I am so happy to hear the good news...Nothing finer than to know you are in the PINK..thank you Lord...You are still # 1 on the Lord's list.. As for the GTG we'll have to chat.. I'm not sure as of yet what's happening with my family ...but I'm keeping it still on the table... Perhaps You, Me and Nan can get something in the making..

Good Morning, Zee!!! How nice to see you at your table this morning! I am up and stoking the fire and turning on all the heaters around this place, as it's -11 F. out there! That's STANDING temperature....wind chill, due to a heavy wind, they say is more than 40 below zero! I wish I didn't have to go out there and could just keep the fire going here and crawl back into my warm sleeping bag. Sigh!

In the meantime, I'll have some coffee and wait to see if anyone else wakes up before I leave here. Thanks for setting the table, Barb.....and I hope you all have a good day in spite of its being the dreaded Monday!

Well Goooooood Morning Sistahs!!!

Hey it's the Morning Queen Herself!! WooHoo!! Great to see ya posting Lady, nothing better than your reacap in the morning!!

Got up and of course did my usual routine and out the door for us. Hey? It's warmed up out there? Dang it's 18 out there now, it was only 14 last night just before I went to bed. Ohhhhh heat wave. hehehe

Got good sleep last night but the thought of being able to go back to my nice warm cosy bed sure is tempting. My eyes keep wanting to flutter shut sitting here. Tree is decorated I think? Looks kinda nekkid if ya want to know the truth? Hopefully some more ornaments will get put on tonight. Better load up the tree itself cause it's gonna be slim pickens under it. All 4 of us are finding it a little tight this year. Those unexpected expenses can nail the pocket and do ya in. ~sigh~

Ok got to go get my comic fix for the day and do my clicks for breast cancer and the animal rescue. Then? Might take a quick snooze on the coffee cup again like yesterday!!!

Warm temps heading our way here for a couple of days, but that wind is coming back again around noon today.....Gee, I wonder if I can get anyone here up early enough to do some fishing before it gets tooooooo Breezyyyyyyyyy around here....Yep, am doing an adult size afghan right now for a Christmas gift....will take a photo soon to show you all......

Okay, got to get more coffee and see if Ernie wants to fish early...

Whoooo Hooooo - Zeee's in the kitchen. Love the raindeer. Good old Texas weather: yesterday morning 28, today 55. Gonna be windy and cloudy today so guess I'd better take the awning down. Gonna wear it out - up-down-up-down. Had applied for workamping at Hobbs City park in New Mexico thru Good Sam. They called and said they weren't sure why GS gave me their name as they've had the same couple for years. Also heard from KOA in Silver City NM - they want someone for six months and I really don't want to spend that long there. I would really like to go to New Mexico so will keep plugging away.

Good morning everybody! Barbz, I love that toe-tapping reindeer watching the tree light up for Christmas. You sure find and create some good 'ns. His reindeer boots remind me of Jill and Tommy trying to get booties on their doggies at the TX gtg. By the way, where are you Jill & Tommy? That workcamping job keeping you too busy to join us?

I've been busy making Christmas goodies for my Christian Women's fellowship group meeting this afternoon. Writing a few Christmas cards is on my list for today too. Hope you all have a safe and blessed day. I won't complain about the chilly morning here, not after reading Nasoosie & Cedr's posts!

Good morning every one - glad I'm not in the Northeast. Here in Vegas it is in the 50s now and will only warm up to low 60s but is cloudy and ugly. Visited with our youngest son and wife yesterday for a while. Probably won't be seeing them again until next time we make it here. He bought the tree, had it very lightly flocked and decorated it. It is like looking at a tree in House Beautiful mag. Told him he ought to get a job decorating peoples trees. Just gave me a dirty look. His wife works at a restaurant evenings so it was his surprise to her.
Don't know what we will do to waste today waiting for tomorrows TV between "8 - 12" appointment. Laundry and cleaning I guess - tourist time is over. Oh I just heard on the news that the volcano at the Mirage is going to start working again today after months of repairs hmmmmmmmmm.

I was too busy coffee today. Paul & I had to go feed cattle before the storm hit, and it did about 10 minutes after we got back then I had to fix dinner, took a nap then took Dad to his Dr. appt. We were in town so late it got dark and had to drive home in a snow storm, was hard to see the turn off but we got home ok. Dad's got a bad UTI & the flu so he's really out of it and why we are picking up on the chores. We don't mind -- we actually like cattle.

Maybe tomorrow morning I'll actually have time for coffee and breakfast!
