Will anyone take the dare and count;
How many times the fire received logs;
How many beers were consumed;
How many "boxes" of wine were sipped;
How many 'bottles of wine' were enjoyed;
How many mugs of coffee, hot chocolate or cider were drank;
and all the other goodies ingested???? Anyone??? Dare ya!

Dang Cedar. Sorry you aren't feeling well. I'm sure the warm fire will help and all the good wishes for a speedy recovery. If you think some ""home brew" would we could probably get you some "shine" up on the mountain!!! I threw on another couple logs to for whoever is counting!! LOL :shock:

We have 2 woodstoves in the house going full blast tonight. It's down to 19 and is supposed to get close to single #s tonight with a high tomorrow of 20. Therefore a campfire outside would be nice but not warm enough. Maybe a cirlce of fires with seats in the middle! The MH is warm but the propane furnaces run a lot! We are just getting into winter weather so we'll just get used to it. We had 3 - 4 inches of fresh powder snow last night so it's nice and bright outside.

Keep warm y'all ~~ Shell

Just had some oatmeal and hot chocolate - and am warming by the fire. Feels sooooooo good.

Nope, not gonna count - don't think I want to know :) Might scare me!

WooooWeeee! Just threw some logs on the fire to get it up and blazing. It sure had burnt down.

I'm a sitting here with my Baileys and coffee. Oh YUM! I had thought it was all gone and had bought another bottle of diff stuff. Good but not the same. Ahhhhhh

Came home from work early, both Kelly and I. Don't have any idea what we got into but we were both miserable. I think in the 4 1/2hrs I was at work I ran to the bathroom 5 times. Got home just in time too. Then I went to bed. Slept for 3 1/2hrs. I feel better? Still a little off? But for sure better than I felt earlier. Gads I hate feeling crappy like that. It's no fun. Did manage to finally have something to eat just now.

Well it's time I got my butt off to bed. I hope everyone had a good night. Hope it was relaxing and pleasant.

OMG!! I caught it just in time!! It was right down to coals and a couple of lumps of wood. I threw a bunch of wood on to get 'er fired up. She's a ripping and blazing now! WooooWeeee now that's a good warm fire. Ahhhhhhh Dang I've got to scoot my camp chair back a bit, my blankie was smoking I think! hehehe

Ok I'm sitting here sipping on my coffee and Baileys. Now that hits the spot. It's 14 degrees out on my back porch. Don't even want to think of what the temp might be in the morning at 5:30am when I get up and take Shade out. Brrrrrr I'm gonna have to break out the sweat pants here pretty dang quick. If I can find them that is. :roll: I know that they're in my bedroom somewhere. Got to dig out the box with my other fuzzy slippers. The ones I'm wearing now are warm but leave my heels uncovered and they get goosebumps in the frigid air.

I think I'll have another cup of coffee with my Baileys and head for bed. Need to get some sleep so I can be bright eyed and bushy tailed in the morning for my wonderful job! :lol: (oh liar, liar pants on fire) And it aint cause I'm to close to the fire either.

Hope ya'll have a good night. Sleep tight!

Golly-----so much going on I forgot all about the campfire. Thanks Echo!!! Been trying to get ready for Christmas. Got some goodies in the making and some cookies ready to bake.

I'm suppossed to leave for Texas a week from this Wed. (17th) and now my sis doesn't know if she is going to Illinois or not!!! She can't remember when I said I was going to be there!!! Plus she had a wreck in her car on the way home from Wiley Opry Sat night and has to see about getting it fixed. She drove it home so at least that is good. She says she wasn't hurt. Some guy ran a light and she hit him. Neither were hurt thank goodness. I will go to Illinois for Christmas where my Sis goes or not. I just go get her because she can't drive that far and won't drive through St. Louis------never has!! Waiting to hear from her before I know what I am going to do. Geese!!!

The fire feels good and sorry but I'm gonna have a couple---need it to deal with my sis!! LOL I think there was 103 and I took 2 ---no wait----I need a six pack today!! That leaves 97!!!! Hickup!!!!

ahhhhhhhh, need to sit a spell and relax. Mondays are always busy at work and today
I got a sudden bowell attack while on a run with kids on my bus. eeeek!! Luckily I was
passing by the yard on the way and radio'd for a spare driver to meet me on the street
out front and finish my run. All was good an hour later but I was afraid to eat lunch so
I skipped it. Its the third time its happened in the last couple weeks and so I suppose
its time for a checkup with my gastro doctor. I've put him off for 3 years but just can't
put him off anymore. Finished out the rest of my day (nervously) but I fixed dinner soon
as I got home, little pepto and then a rice and chicken dinner with cheese. I don't feel
like I'm getting the flu or anything like that, I feel fine, just tired. The weather was a
little cold today, had to wear my jacket all day :( I don't think it ever broke 70.
Did I tell you how much I really like my new chair!! It is so comfy. Don't think I have
anything else to say, it would be nice to hit the sack after a shot of whiskey but think
I'll pass on that until I know my intestines are back to normal. Thanks for the warm
fire to sit by, I'll toss a couple of logs and give it a stir on my way out.

brought some sweets home from a social and although the body wants hot choc a little on the cool side tonight milk sounds so good..Need to through a log or two on and make that flame shoot up into the sky care ful of the sparkes ok

And I just made some more hot chocolate to take off the chill here. Course, walking to the beach and back didn't help with the chill LOL - but sure was necessary - I LOVE the water. Peaches LOVES the water and beach - so I hate skipping going a day and try not to very often.

Going to warm my hands at the fire while I drink this hot chocoate - then will get ready to head out to hear the band here tonight.
