Happy Mother's Day to you as well, Echo! And to all the mothers out there, the same. My only kids are my furkids, and while they sometimes remember Valentine's Day and my birthday, they don't remember Mother's Day.

Happy Mother's Day to all. My son called Friday. It had just dawned on him I would be gone on this day. He seemed surprised, probably because I have always been home on MD. I will get a call from son and daughter and this will make my day. I am sitting here listening to the rain on the roof. It's a nice sound and makes me want to crawl back under the blanket. I must get my poncho on and take Rudy out. He seems perfectly content tho. I really wanted to go onto Cades Cove today. Rain is still in the forecast for tomorrow. I think I will just stay put and get some of my work done. It will have to be work I can do without my work computer..darn thing finally bit the dust and not at a good time. I wanted to replace with a mac but I went into Carbonite yesterday and found they have to load my files back into a PC. I can go over my credit card statements and pay some bills. They will probably be happy I'm staying as they don't have many people here. As busy as the town was yesterday this surprised me.

I'm laying here with my kitty, Lola. Last Tuesday, I got to see my daughter, and on Wednesday, I spent some time at my mom's grave talking with her. So it has been Mother's Week for me!

We are all Mom's to someone (human or critter) at some point in our lives!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
